SBTVD Project – Brazilian context
Digital television is not a simple technical evolution from the
analog TV, but its a whole new communications platform
Models and standards for Terrestrial Digital Television should be
developed starting from the real needs of the Brazilian society
with emphasis on low cost and on interactivity as well, based on
the increase of content production and distribution aiming to
improve the national research and development efforts.
