The Substrates
• RECORE ™ Smooth and Textured• PVC face with recycled backing (20% by weight)• Contributes to LEED credits
• ECORE ™• PVC-free base made of spun polyester• Contributes to LEED credits
• Digital Duraprene™• PVC-free material made from PCW fibers and synthetic latex• Contributes to LEED credits
How Digital Walls are Printed
• Ink is sprayed on substrate and “cured” (made solid) by exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light
• Environmentally preferable to solvent - water-based inks that do not release volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
• We have set a goal that all wallcovering will be printed using UV curing inks by end of second quarter
