Shape Christmas Tablet/Mobile Wallpaper (www.itsashapechristmas.com)
Project:Each year 25 creative’s submit a design based around a shape as part of Made by Shape’s interactive advent calendar. Anyone who downloads a festive wallpaper can also donate to Key 103’s: Mission Christmas charity.
My Shape was a circle, and after a few initial ideas I went with the concept of the bird’s eye view of a cup being a circle. I furthered this concept and transformed the hot chocolate into a bath tub for a Gingerbread man in need of some pre-Christmas relaxation!
Results -∙ Line vector illustration to download onto Tablet and Mobile devices∙ 3rd most downloaded wallpaper out of the 25
TecmarkBrand and digital design (www.tecmark.co.uk)
Project:Whilst working at Tecmark one of my roles as Graphic Designer was to refresh their brand to co-inside with Tecmark’s new core values. I completely rebranded them adding new fonts, icons and design styles to follow.
One of the biggest changes was adding a navy blue to Tecmark’s brand colours giving it a nice contrast against Tecmark’s main red and offering the brand more design flexibility and diversity.
Results -∙ Complete re-brand - this was carried over into every asset of Tecmark including the newly designed website.
Travelbag: A day in projectWebsite design (http://www.travelbag.co.uk/a-day-in/)
Project:Travelbag’s A Day in project was designed to give the user the feeling of experiencing a Day in a particular destination, such as Dubai and Las Vegas.
Myself and the Tecmark team used videos to give this feeling and I designed the website to be a simple and an easy scrolling experience, keeping it clean with a focus on the video content contained on each page.
Results -∙ On launch day it became the second most visited page and since launch it has had thousands upon thousands of page views, 89% of which were new visitors. ∙ It gained over 13,000 social interactions making it the most shared piece on Travelbag.
AO: Life is messyWebsite design (http://ao.com/life/is-messy/)
Project:Design a several websites focusing on the different ways kids can have fun with mess. I designed the hub page, “The Nations attitude to play” page and the “30 day’s of mess” page
This was a great project to get involved with, we had to design the UX/UI to be kid friendly but also to be fun to navigate and look through.
Results -∙ Website design which worked with SEO to create a central hub of messy fun, for kids and adults.
