Russian soprano Dilyara Idrisova was born in 1989 in Ufa, Bashkortostan. She started her musical education in her hometown with Milyausha Murtazina and graduated in 2014 from the Moscow Conservatory with honors. She took masterclasses with Debbie York in England, Max Emanuel Cencic in Austria and with Ildar Abdrazakov and Julia Lezhneva in Russia. In 2016, she won the second Grand Prix and Prix du Public at the 51st International Concours de Chant de Toulouse.
Dilyara Idrisova has been a member of the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater in Ufa since 2014. At the same time, she started her international career. In the 2014/15 season, she participated in a European tour in the role of Lisaura in Handel‘s Alessandro with Julia Lezhneva, Max Emanuel Cencic and Xavier Sabata. Accompanied with the Armonia Atenea orchestra under the direction of George Petrou, she performed at the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow, at the BOZAR in Brussels and at the Handel House, the Handel Festival Halle. The tour was followed by performing Arasse in Hasse‘s Siroe in Krakow, Moscow, at the Royal Concertgebouw Amsterdam, at the Opéra de Lausanne and the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden. Furthermore, she sang Sabina in Pergolesi‘s Adriano in Si-ria at the Opéra Royal de Versailles and at the Theater an
der Wien, as well as Bach‘s St Matthew- and St. John Passion at the Philharmonie in Gasteig, Munich.
Recent highlights are Poppea in Handel‘s Agrippina at the Vlaamse Opera, Colloandra in Salieri‘s La fiera di Venezia at the SWR Schwetzinger Festspiele and Giuditta in Vincis Gismondo re di Polonia at Theater an der Wien. In 2019, she had her debut at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, her debut with the Salzburg Festival in Porpora’s Polifemo plus a CD recordings of Porpora’s Germanico in Germania and Handel‘s Ottone.
Upcoming productions for Dilyara Idrisova in the current season are Bellezza in Handel‘s Il trionfo del tempo e del dis-inganno at the Opéra National de Montpellier and Evanco in Handel‘s Rodrigo at the Theater an der Wien.
