The DIN 11853 coupling is an exactly the same, the only difference is that it is also produced in stainless steel 304L wit short weldable ends. This recent developed connections is a direct equivalent from the DIN-11864 connection which is made for pharmaceutical applications. The hygienic aspects of the DIN-11864 are also suitable for the food industry and therefore is the DIN-11853 connection created.The difference between these 2 versions is due to the norm family and is visual in the length of the welding part. DIN-11853 couplings are also available in 304L/1.4307. The connecting part of each connection is an exact copy of the DIN-11864 and the parts including the gaskets are interchangeable.
