The speed of light is about 3x108 meters per second.

These electromagnetic waves are made up of to two

parts. The first part is an electric field. The second part

is a magnetic field. So that is why they are called

electromagnetic waves. The two fields are at right

angles to each other.

•The MAGNETRON (A) is a self-contained microwave oscillator that

operates differently from the linear-beam tubes, such as the TWT and

the klystron. View (B) is a simplified drawing.

The magnetron is a

high-powered vacuum

tube that

generates microwaves

using the interaction of

a stream

of electrons with

a magnetic field.

A rectenna is a rectifying

antenna, a special type

of antenna that is used to

convert microwave energy

into direct

current electricity. They

are used in wireless power

transmission systems that

transmit power by radio

waves.

If we are running out of battery, then what we need

to do is just call a number from our phone will be

recharged by packet energy within some time

without the need to search for plugging in our phone.

What we need to do is turn on our laptop or search

for any other laptop or phone users near by and

charge our phone by Bluetooth.

Page 11: Dinesh

The biggest disadvantage of wireless charging technology

is that it doesn’t have a very large range.

Another disadvantage of wireless chargers is that of

radiation.

More expensive.

Page 12: Dinesh

Thus this paper successfully demonstrates a

method of using the power of the microwave to

charge the mobile phones without the use of

wired charger.
