Not just better relations between neighboring countries BUT the nations of the world.
To provide better trade with not just regional countries but other countries, this in turn
will strengthen and accelerate economic growth which is important to Singapore as
we are a small island state. Importing and exporting goods is an important factor for
Singapore as it is the driving force of our economy.
To have proper immigration laws for travellers from around the world rather than in
the region and also legal immigrates, this will in turn boost Singapores economy
which attract rich foreigners and also provide jobs.
To preserve world peace, not just with regional countries but the world, which is also
important to Singapore as it is a small state. We have a military force much stronger
than our neighbours BUT not other nations. More importantly, countries of UN work together to tackle global concerns and
problems together such as world wide pandemic, transnational terrorism and global
economic crisis.
