• Number of Road Sections are being
upgraded in Western part of Delhi.
• The combined proposals wil lresult in
balanced dispersal of traffic
originating and destined to various
locations in and around ECC.
• Network upgradation proposals will
creating alternative connections
between NH 1, NH 10, Airport, South
Delhi, Gurgaon and Central Delhi
thereby decongesting existing road
sections.

1. Dwarka Expressway is partially
elevated.

DEMERITS

peak hours due to merging and
diverging.

carriageway of Dwarka Expressway

4. Additional land requirement at Sector
26 for Trumpet.
5. The Signalized exits at Location 7, 8 &
9 may cause congestion inside ECC.

• External connectivity will comprise of 8
lane Dwarka Expressway, 6 lane existing
Link road and 3-4 lane service road.
• Prime Access will be from 8 lane Dwarka.
Expressway being developed by NHAI.
• Section of Dwarka expressway all along
the eastern boundary will be elevated.
• Section of UER 2 all along the northern
boundary will also be elevated.
• Traffic from Mahipalpur will descend
from a dedicated ramp for ECC while
the Dwarka Expressway Remains
Elevated.
• Underground U-Turn in South East will
allow the traffic to enter the site without
conflict.
• Traffic towards Exhibition will move
straight from Expressway.
