Director of Education
Surrounding Children With Excellence
INTRODUCTION
The Primary First Trust was established in November 2013 with a stated intention of
working collectively and collaboratively with other schools to improve the quality of
outcomes afforded to children within the Trust. There are now six schools organised
as four individual academies.
The purpose of the Primary First Trust is to secure rapid and sustained improvement
of every academy it works with whether through the sponsorship or converter process.
Each single academy will seek to be transformational and strive for outstanding
achievement and success.
We will work with all schools who share our values. We recognise that our core and
underpinning belief is that primary education is unique in itself and therefore only
primary schools will have full membership of the Trust.
The Primary First Trust has good relationships with its schools and the local
authorities in which they are placed. We will seek to build on these existing
relationships and develop them to continually improve the service we offer. We are
committed to achieving rapid and sustained improvement within all our schools;
building capacity in each school to drive progress and ensure that every child is able to
receive a high quality educational experience.
