The Star of The Feast of the Baptism of the Lord is an opportune moment to recall the importance and the dignity of our own baptism. In and through the waters of Baptism we were plunged into a relationship with the risen Christ. From that day we were known as Christians, and we were sent into the world to nurture that relationship through a life of discipleship. Since living as a disciple is at the core of the Christian vocation, we have made it a central part of our Parish Plan and our liturgical theme this year will be Discipleship: Knowing and Sharing.

Saint Margaret Mary Church is proud to welcome

internationally acclaimed singer, songwriter, presenter

Sarah Hart For this year’s

Parish Mission

Monday, February 10 and Tuesday, February 11

7 - 8:30 pm

Bring your whole family and invite your friends for these two special evenings of stories, music and prayer.

All ages will enjoy this Parish Mission!

Sarah Hart is one of the leading figures in contemporary Catholic music today and has been a singer, songwriter, retreat author, and keynote speaker for over twenty years. Her heart for parish missions and itinerant ministry has taken her all over the US and abroad. She has performed for countless conventions and events, and for Pope Francis at St. Peter’s Square. A Grammy-nominated songwriter (“Better Than an

Hallelujah” as well as many others), her songs have been recorded by numerous recording artists, and have appeared in TV, movies, commercials, and theater. Her writing is visible in hymnals across the globe.

Originally from Lancaster, Ohio, she has a degree in music from Ohio State University.

Now based in Nashville, she’s on the road a good part of the year, juggling a busy songwriting, recording, concert and event schedule, though her favorite “job” is that of wife

and mother. Sarah’s love for music and ministry intersect in amazing ways. Her dynamic energy, sense of humor and deep faith make her events unforgettable experiences.

Men’s weekend: April 2-5 Women’s Weekend: April 16-19

(Weekends fill up fast, call soon if interested) By the Grace of the Holy Spirit we are blessed to have a community of Cursillistas who are actively engaged in spreading the message of God’s Love to the world. Cursillo is a program that encourages Catholics to “bloom where we are planted” and bring the fruits of our faith into the ordinary moments of our everyday lives. It can draw you closer to the Body of Christ – living and growing in our Christian Community. The Cursillo Journey begins with a three-day weekend experience which invites Catholics to dive deeper into the well of our faith and personally connect with God’s unlimited love. Many have said the Cursillo Weekend can only be described as a “life-changing event”. More than just one weekend, it is an invitation to a pilgrimage which is lived every day for the rest of our lives – in every place that God chooses to “plant” us. If you are interested in attending a Cursillo Weekend, please contact Andrea Cavalere for more information at 407-998-5678 or [email protected]
