Bifacial Modul Bifacial module

Beim Glas-Modul mit Bifacial-Zelltechnologie wird das Licht sowohl auf der Vorder- als auch auf der Rückseite des Moduls aufgenommen. Die erhöhte Lichtausbeute steigert den Wirkungsgrad des Mo-duls. Der Leistungsgewinn ist von der Strahlungssi-tuation (Untergrund und Athmosphäre) abhängig.

For the glass module with bifacial cell technology, the light is caught both on the front and on the back of the module. The increased light input increases the efficiency of the module. The efficiency gain depends on the radiation situati-on (background and atmosphere).

Assembly systems

Ab einer Spannweite von 5 Metern (ohne weitere Unterstützung) wird das Schwerlastprofil 120 x 80 verwendet. Ab 6 Metern* (ohne weitere Unter-stützung) werden die Schwerlastprofile 160 x 80 oder 200 x 80 standardmäßig verwendet.

Sechsfache Traglast mit dem Profil 80x160 Das Schwerlastprofil 80 x 160 (mm) hat im Vergleich zu den bisher verwendeten Schwerlastprofilen (80x120 mm) eine doppelte, ggü. den 80x80 Profi-len eine mehr als 6-fache Tragkraft. Somit ermög-licht es Konstruktionen bis zu einer Spannweite von 7 Metern*. Die Dachflächen tragen mit diesem Profil selbst sehr hohe Schneelasten. Durch die Optimie-rung des Querschnitts erhöht sich das Profilgewicht nur um ca. 13%, das der gesamten PV-Dachkonst-ruktion nur um ca. 7% (ggü. dem 80x120 Profil). Die Tragkraft kann aus dem in der Tabelle unten dar-gestellten Trägheitsmoment abgeleitet werden.

Six times more bearing load with the 80x160 profileThe heavy duty profile (80x160 mm) can hold twice the bearing load of the previously used 80x120 mm profiles and more then 6 times the bearing load of the 80x80 mm profiles. That way constructions up to 7 meters in width are possible*. The roof surfaces are capable of carrying very heavy snowloads. By optimi-zing the cross section of the profile, it only gains 13% in weight, and the whole roof construction is only 7% heavier than the construction with 80x120 mm profiles.The bearing load can be derived from the table illus-trated below.

Stützkombinationen Support combinations

Wand Wall

Unsere Standard Moduldächer können mit unter-schiedlichen Konstruktionen kombiniert werden. Für Carports empfehlen wir unsere V-Konstruktion (s. Abbildung oben links). Für Terrassen ist eine ein-fache Unterstützung geeignet, da diese an eine be-reits bestehende Wand angeschlossen werden kann (s. Abbildung oben rechts). Zudem bieten wir freistehende Unterkonstruktio-nen an, welche zur Stabilität entweder mit Querstre-ben (s. Abbildung unten links) oder mit stabilisieren-den Wänden (z.B. aus Dibondmaterial (s. Abbildung unten rechts) versehen werden müssen.

Our standard modular compartments can be com-bined with different designs.For carports, we recommend our V-construction (see illustration above left). A simple support is sui-table for terraces as this can be connected to an al-ready existing wall (see illustration in the upper right corner).We also offer freestanding substructures, which must be provided either with cross struts (see illust-ration on the bottom left) or with stabilizing walls (for example, from dibond material (see figure below right).

Zudem gibt es die Möglichkeit, die Stützen ent-sprechend in der Länge anzupassen, sodass auch bspw. ein Wohnmobil oder Transporter unter den Carport gestellt werden kann (s. Abb. unten links). Auch ist es möglich, den Carport umgekehrt auszu-richten (s. Abb. rechts unten).

In addition, there is the possibility to adjust the sup-ports accordingly in the length, so that also for ex-ample a camper or van can park under the carport (see figure at the left bottom).It is also possible to adjust the carport reverse (see image at the right bottom).

Der Einsatz unserer PV Dachsysteme ist natürlich nicht an unsere Konstruktionen gebunden.Eine Reihe von Bauherren haben unsere Module sowie die regenwasserdichte Befestigung auf vorhandene oder neu geplante Dachkonstruktionen montiert – mit einem großen Gewinn an Ästhetik und Nutzen für die Umwelt durch die Stromgewinnung. In vielen Fällen führt der Stromertrag zu einer 100 %igen Selbstversorgung.

Das Bild oben links zeigt eine Gartenvilla im Alpenvorland mit 27 M60 Modulen (insg. 7,2 KWp)auf einer Holzkonstruktion.Die Anlage liefert ca. 8.000 KWh Strom im Jahr.

Die Bilder unten rechts zeigen ein weltweit einmaliges gebäudeintegriertes PV-Dach mit 240 Modulen auf 400m2. Die installierte Leistung beträgt 58 kWp. Es wurde vollkommen auf eine zusätzliche Dachhaut verzichtet.

The application of our PV - Roof-Systems is not bound to our aluminium-constructions.Some of our customers used our modules and the watertight applicationsystem on already existing or newly constructed roofs. That resulted in a big gain of asthetics and environmental benefit because of the electricity generation. In many cases the output is enough for 100 percent self-subsistence.

The picture above on the left shows a Garden-Villa near the Alpes with 27 M60 modules (7,2 KWp) on a wooden construction.The installation produces approx. 8,000 KWh electri-city per year.

The pictures below on the right show a worldwide unique building integrated PV with 240 modules on 400m2. The installed power amount 58 kWp.A roof skin has been completely dispensed.

Kit: The individual wooden parts are supplied numbered as a kit with detailed assembly instructions. Due to the exact cutting of the wooden profiles, the construction can be erected in the shortest possible time. The indi-vidual wooden beams are connected with the supplied screws. The construction is available in terrace and carport versions.

Bausatz: Die einzelnen Holzteile werden nummeriert als Bausatz mit einer ausführlichen Montageanleitung geliefert. Durch den genauen Zuschnitt der Holzprofile kann die Konstruktion in kürzester Zeit aufgebaut werden. Die einzelnen Holzträger werden mit den mitgelieferten Schrauben verbunden. GridParity Sol☼Track® Bifacial Tracker – the best option for higher CAPEX

Traditionally trackers have been associated with the perception of complex designs and high repair and maintenance expenses. True: Trackers increase the investment costs. But our system by a slim 4% only! The O&M cost increase of 1 % is almost negligible. However, they also increase the yield of a PV power plant by 10 – 30 %. In the Sol☼Track® System the modules are fixed to the specially designed rail „A“ (see the photo of moun-ting system on page 10). The low weight of the rail reduces the load for the tracking motor by 30 %. The high reliability of 99.9 % can minimize the maintenance cost since in most cases the routine main-tenance is enough and there is no emergency need for field support.

Boost for Bifacial modulesOur system has been designed with a special focus on bifacial modules with no shading on the back of the modules. Our simulations have shown that with a bifacial module and our Sol☼Track® a gain in yield of up to 35 % can be achieved.

High Returns on Investment Our GridParity bifacial tracking system will help the investor to have a better ROI (return on investment) and IRR (internal rate of return) by increasing the power generation up to 35% depending on the project locati-on.

Motor and GearThe target of our R&D department was the movement of 76 modules (38 rows of two horizontally mounted size 2 modules) with a power of approx. 30 kWp (Almaden bifacial B72 modules).We have chosen an Electrical DC motor distinguished by especially good effi-ciency and high torque /power characteristic. The attached cylindrical straight gear teeth head is made in the same form as the motor and has an enormous torque of 486 Nm. The power consumption is amazingly low with less than 0.4 kWh/day. The total consumption amounts to only 170 kWh/year, an almost negligible amount of less than 0.4 %.

Almaden SolarTrack BearingsSolar trackers require a light-weight, self-lubricating, weather-proof bearing to allow smooth functioning over an extended period of time, 25 years and more.Besides the motor, the key component of a tracker that allows the systems to move, are the tracker bea-rings. The materials required for these applications should have low-friction and be able to maintain its toug-hness and other properties under all weather condition.In our SolTrack system we use, the best rated material in the industry. Benefits in ApplicationThe specific low wear, low friction behavior of our thermoplastic alloy facilitates smooth function of the be-aring and does not need greasing or maintenance that is required with metal bearings. It also offers better tolerances than metal bearings which results in better alignment of trackers in the field.our thermoplastic typically has a tensile strength 10% higher than alternative copolymers, so devices can be made smaller without compromising performance.

Robust and DurableGalvanized steel in combination with durable light-weight aluminum ensures excellent re-sistance in harsh environments. Our trackers withstand extreme wind storms up to

Intelligent Power Plant Technology Multi-mode control function include backtracking, rain, snow, wind and manual operations. In particular, backtracking eliminates self-shadowing of panels during early mornings and late evenings and allows com-pact design of tracker in limited space.

PV-Cleaner® with water cleaning function:For the water-assisted cleaning with the help of the PV-Cleaner® a special water-cleaning brush was developed to clean the modules gently with very low water consumption. Using a tube, the device can be easily supplied with water. The plastic cover directs the water into the brush and onto the module.The PV-Cleaner® has a low water consumption and high atomization, which saves water as well as costs and the cleaning performance can be optimized.

PV-Cleaner® without water-cleaning function:The PV-Cleaner® can also be used without water for cleaning the modules. The particularly gentle brushes are passed over the modules with little pressure, which facilitates the work of the cleaning staff and considerably improves the efficiency.

PV-Cleaner® with snow cleaning function:In snowy regions, the efficiency and power generation of the modules is often affected by the shading of the cells. In addition, high snow loads pose a potenti-al safety risk for the PV modules.The PV-Cleaner® increases the power generation in winter and reduces the snow load on the substructure. Since the PV-Cleaner® can also be used without water, it is also suitable for cleaning snow-covered modules. The modules are cleaned gently and there is no icing of the module surface afterwards.

Most module cleaning machines offered in the market are large systems with high water consumption. Ne-vertheless, the cleaning effect is often insufficient or not satisfactory.These deficits were our motivation for the development of the PV-Cleaner®. This can be used in many ways for different cleaning purposes.The most important feature of the PV-Cleaner® is the good mobility. The device can be easily carried by one person. Due to the removable plastic cap, the PV-Cleaner® can also be operated without water. This feature is particularly useful in case of heavy sand pollution or at minus temperatures. The condition of the modules was tested in various electroluminescence test procedures after using the PV-Cleaner®. The results show that the brush leaves no scratches or other marks on the module. This is possible because of the particular-ly soft bristles of the cleaning brush.

Production of premium modules (glass-glass, standard, with frame and bifacial) of the latest ge-nerationWe offer our clients complete turn-key lines, with support, start-up, maintenance and advice service by qua-lified personnel with years of experience.Our machines are of the newest generation and innovative for the use of thin photovoltaic cells with large dimensions. The gathering of our machines creates a complete line for the production of high-quality photo-voltaic modules in accordance with the European standards and in accordance with the certificates reques-ted by the market.The offered line is suitable not only for standard photovoltaic modules (glass-backsheet) but also for BIPV modules (glass- glass) thanks to its high flexibility; suitable for the production of Crystalline PV modules of 60 and 72 cells/modules, both with coated and textured glasses. Other module layouts are also possible.The stringer we provide can string and solder many types of solar cells: monocrystaline, polycristaline, bifa-cial solar cells, PERC and high efficiency solar cells.The cell type (4 or 5 or 6 bus bar) in the stringer machine is changed in 30 minutes. The maximum string length in the stringer is 2 meters and maximum cell to cell distance is 35 mm but this can be customized on request. The laminator releases the membrane with controlled pressure and speed which optimize the lamination of glass-glass modules.The machines we provide are equiped with Ethernet connection that permits a remote supervision and quick assistance. In this way the machines are already predisposed to be interfaced in an automatic line and for a management system of the line.
