Faith in God is a powerful force that changes thingswhen we release it. Every believer in Jesus Christ hasbeen given a measure of faith (see Romans 12:3),

and Romans 1:17 says, “The just shall live by faith”(NKJV).

It’s one thing to believe in Jesus as your Savior and exerciseyour faith for salvation, but there are many things we needto release our faith for after we are born again. Faith does-n’t end with our salvation; from that point, we’re supposedto live by faith.

In Mark 11:22 (AMP), Jesus says we should “have faith inGod [constantly].” Notice the word “constantly.” Thisdoesn’t mean just once in a while or occasionally. It meanswe can live by faith all the time.

It’s so important to get a revelation about this. For manyyears, I was saved and attended church but I didn’t un-derstand that I could believe God for anything else that Ineeded. As a result, I didn’t have real peace and joy in mylife. But once I decided to get serious with God and godeeper in my relationship with Him, I learned that I canexercise my faith in Him for the things I need.

The truth is, there is nothing we cannot pray about, andno need we cannot lift up to Him and release our faith forHim to help us.

Learn How to Build Your FaithNow faith can grow, but it only grows when we use it. It’slike a muscle. The way you build a bigger muscle isthrough effort—you have to use it. As it grows, you haveto use heavier weights or exercises that require greater ef-fort to keep it growing. It’s the same way with our faith. We put our faith in God to get through a challenge or trial, and later on, another harder trial comes along. Eventuallywe find that things that used to bother us or were hard todeal with aren’t a problem for us anymore because ourfaith has grown.

How Faith WorksGalatians 5:6 tells us that faith works through love. And

in 2 Thessalonians 1:3 (NIV), Paul says, “Your faith isgrowing more and more, and the love all of you have forone another is increasing.”

Love must grow for our faith to grow, so we need to berooted and grounded in God’s love. This means that ourunderstanding of how much God loves us has to grow inorder for our faith to grow. Because the more you believesomeone loves you, the more you’re willing to put yourtrust and confidence in them.

When we receive the love of God, learn to love ourselvesin a balanced way and let His love flow through us to oth-ers, then our faith in God will grow.

How Much Faith Do You Have?If you want to know how much faith you have, pay atten-tion to what you say, especially during hard times…orwhen you have to wait longer than you’d like…or whensomeone else gets what you want and you don’t have ityet…or when somebody mistreats you and God doesn’tvindicate you as quickly as you want Him to.

Are you speaking words of faith that line up with God’sWord? These are times when we have to purposely exer-cise our faith. One way you can do that is by remindingyourself of scriptures like Matthew 6:25-33, which tells uswe don’t have to worry because God will surely take careof us and meet our needs if we put our trust in Him. Andtalk to yourself: “I’m using my faith today. I’ll have what Ineed tomorrow when tomorrow comes.”

What Faith Can DoThere are so many things faith in God can do in our

lives. The power of faith…• Saves us from sin and makes us right with God• Fills us with the Holy Spirit• Purifies our heart and gives us access to the

presence of God• Gives us security and confidence and brings hope

and blessing• Heals the sick• Brings provision

And this is my prayer: that your love mayabound more and more in knowledge anddepth of insight, so that you may be able to

discern what is best… Philippians 1:9-11

How often do we resign ourselves to the "tyranny ofthe urgent"? If you're me, it's a daily struggle not touse that little phrase as an excuse for losing sight ofthe big picture. It's so much easier to take care ofwhat's immediately in front of me instead of whatshould be first in my life.

I'm a task-oriented Martha, so concerned with get-ting the job done that I forget to focus on Him first.I can tell myself that I'm doing my work "as unto theLord" as much as I want, but I don't serve anyonewhen I get harried. You probably know the feeling;you tell yourself that you're cooking a wholesomedinner as a supreme act of service and love for yourfamily - if they only appreciated how many otherthings you have to do besides stand over a stove! -when little Anne asks if you'll help her find a favoriteCD. Something boils over, and it's not the pot onthe stove. In taking care of dinner, you've forgottento feed a godly attitude of patience and love.

That's me to a fault. James makes it clear that faith isconstantly looking for ways to serve; like Martha, however, we can get so busy that we forget why we'redoing it. I often catch myself thinking that if I'm notbusy, I'm not "doing enough" for God. But then theact becomes its own end, instead of an outworkingof love. Imagine Martha in the kitchen, flutteringaround and looking for that special recipe to serveJesus, while Mary just sat, soaking up His words.Martha's response to this was probably well-inten-

tioned - that is, from a

human point of view. She was serving and wantedothers to serve with her! But Jesus called her bluff."Only one thing is needed," Christ said, "and Maryhas chosen what is better" (Luke 10:42). Better?Lord, you mean that sitting at your feet and beingquiet is better than my idea of being busy servingyou? That's right.

I think I got a double-portion of Martha's spirit. Toooften, I think that sitting and listening to Jesus is thesame thing as sitting and doing nothing. I think it'slaziness. Satan whispers that my time could be bet-ter spent doing than learning, and then the tyrannyof the urgent takes over. But even Olympic acts ofservice are as nothing if not done in love (1Corinthians 13), and only time at the feet of Jesuscan teach me that.

Love leads to action, as Paul writes to the Philippianchurch, not the other way around. I can't "discernwhat is best" in my work and words unless I keep thevery best in front of my eyes, like Mary. My prayerthis week is that I will focus on Jesus and see how tolove. Then the priorities will fall in line. Then I seewhat is best, because I see Jesus.

Intersection of Faith & Life: We have to preach theGospel to ourselves daily, as Jerry Bridges writes, sowe never lose sight of what is first and last in impor-tance. Reevaluate your commitments and make surethat you've set aside time to sit at the feet of Jesus be-fore anything else.

According to Malachi 3:10-12, there is a list of bless-ings for you as a tither that I’d like to bring your at-tention; believing that the knowledge of this will

cause you to rejoice and remain grateful and faithful toGod in what He has in stock for you. At the same time thiswill spur non-tithers to start tithing in order to come intothe blessing realm that God has provided for them. When people tithe, they are acknowledging the AlmightyGod who is the Founder of heaven and earth and the giverof all things. This is what Abram did when he returnedfrom battle, giving the tithe of the spoil to the priest of God(Gen. 14:18-24).

#1. Tithers work under open windows ofheavenGod says He will throw open the floodgates (windows)of heaven for tithers.Heaven locates God’s people where they are and bringsthem favor where they don’t know anybody. Now speaking of windows, one Pastor MatthewAshimolowo of KICC in U.K. said, “When window isopen, you have light where there was darkness, you nolonger experience confusion.”When others are in darkness, tithers are in the light. Whenyour window is open (because you tithe), you are able tosee what God is about to do. Window is for vision. Youwill know where your favor lies and are able to go there, because you are looking through the window. Jacob saw a ladder and he saw what had been scheduledfor him in heaven (Gen. 28:10-17), then he said everytithe of what I get will go to God (Gen. 28:18-22). “People who do not tithe are living in windowless houseand windowless lives, because to those who tithe, Godshall open windows of heaven.”To operate without the window of heaven is to workunder close heaven. Such man is blind and cannot seewhat is hidden. As photographers do, the only thing thatis developed in the dark room is negatives. But for tithers, since their windows are open, meaning

they have light coming into their lives, they hear the wordsof God in Isaiah 60 which says, “Arise and shine for yourlight has come …”

#2. Tithers operate under “So much blessings”Can you imagine living under this condition of blessings?Yes, it is possible if you and I will obey the command-ments of God and worship Him with our tithes.

#3. No room enough to receive: When Godbrings you into your own blessing, you receive favor andare able to bless others. This is a favor that is so much, thereis no room enough. There is something called “no roomenough blessing.” This is a corporate anointing that makesgood things happen to all the people in the church; Sothere should be no non-tithers in the church, so that therewill be so much blessings in the church of God. This is arealm where you are so blessed and the people around youbegin to benefit from it.

#4 –Tithers are exempted from the de-structive dominion of devourers: Joel 1:4 For the disobedient, God can call for a drought upon theirlabor and everything around them (Haggai 1:11); but fortithers, God says He would guard your job against attacksand your income against waste and ruin.

Self-Examination:If you are a tither but have not been enjoying these bless-ings, first search your heart to examine whether or not youare totally faithful in tithing; whether you give at your con-venience or all the time and from all that you earn.If you find yourself faithful, pray that God’s promisesbegin in your life today. If you have not been faithful, pray to God that He wouldhelp you to trust Him for who He is.If you just never believed in tithing, pray that God will helpyou hear him as He speaks to you and help you see whatHe has in store for you –to spur you into action.

When Jesus Christ died on the cross, Hepaid the price for our fallen human na-ture, which we inherited through our

first human parents. He also paid the price for all thetimes when we ourselves have acted contrary to thenature and principles of our Creator. Treason ispunishable by death, and Jesus Christ took that pun-ishment for us, enabling our restoration. But His action only provides the warranty. You haveto accept the gift of being a brand new “product” inorder to come under the warranty. You have to re-spond to it by making a personal decision to comeunder His offered warranty in order to receive thenecessary forgiveness and restoration.

Someone might ask, “Why would Godsend His Son to be a sacrifice for us? Why wouldGod shed blood for us? Why would God experiencepunishment for us? Why would God raise Jesusfrom the dead and establish Him as King of Kings?”He did all of this to redeem us, because the author-ity we are carrying inside us is so awesome, it wasworth His death. The earth needs you. It needs yourpurpose, your authority, and your gift.

There are people who want to be re-stored to the Creator God but are afraid of Him.

They believe that to “fear” the Lord means to bescared of Him. But “fear” in regard to God means torespect Him; to have an awareness of all the powerHe has on your behalf. He can do great things foryou through His power.

If you have developed a fear of authorityin relation to God over the years, this fear may havehindered you from receiving the restoration He of-fers you. In my own life, it took me a long time to un-derstand and accept the truth that God isn’t mad atsinners. Paul of Tarsus, the great first-century the-ologian, wrote, “But God demonstrates His ownlove for us in this: “While we were still sinners, Christdied for us” (Rom 5:8).

God is not angry with you for what youdid that was wrong. He is hurt by it. Why? BecauseHe knows that it hinders you from doing what isright. He knows that if He doesn’t help you, you willhurt yourself. He is not a monster and a destroyer—He is a redeemer and a restorer.

Remember: “God did not send his Soninto the world to condemn the world, but to save theworld through him” (John 3:17). Understandingthe truth about God’s love and provision to restoreus eliminates our fear of Him and His authority.

Praise God forever more!. I greet you dear honor-able member of the king-dom of our God.I want to briefly bring toyou what I have cap-

tioned ENOUGH ISENOUGH.

First of all, I want to say our God says what He means andmeans what He says. He has never made an error inspeech. If He created the languages, will He not speak ap-propriately? Remember it's impossible for Him to lie. Hisintention for his people is that we keep winning every fightor battle all the time, whether small, big or great. That iswhy it is said in 2 Corinthians 2:14 that, "Now thanks beunto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ...."Note always, not some of the time or most of the time, butalways. He has programmed an ever-winning life for us.WHY ARE YOU BEING BEATEN CONSTANTLY.? Don't look sickly, broken, pitiful etc...I came through to tell you enough is enough.Withouta reaction, there cannot be a possession. Wake up fromyour slumber, it's time to arise and take up your bed. I chal-lenge you king, have you not read that you have been re-deemed as kings and priests to reign on this earth?Revelation 5:10 says, you are a king, but you need to takegreat steps in order to arrive at that future. I can tell youthat there is a price to be paid for the prize.

Ignorance is our greatest obstacle, not the devil northe environment. He said in Hosea 4:6 that His ownpeople are in captivity or have been stripped of honor, be-cause they lack knowledge. The working knowledge of thetruth is our greatest key into supernatural breakthroughs.Every breakthrough in the kingdom is traceable to the ac-curate application of the right word to the issue of con-cern. What we need is adequate light to deal with the issueat hand. Why are some having the best of times and somethe worst of times?

For lack of space, my nugget for you here is to embark onan unending search into the word of God. Remember it'snot only the more sure word of prophecy, but there issomething written concerning you in its pages. Search andsearch the scriptures, and not what preachers have toldyou. You got to do your own search, and after you havefound that right word then there shall be a reward, andyour expectation shall not be cut off. Prov. 24:13-14.

I don't know who I am sent to, but I pray the Holy Ghostgives you a life transforming encounter. You can change

your position if you are interested. If you shall hearken dili-gently to God's voice and observe to do his command-ments then He will do for you.....Deut 28:1. Our God is acovenant-keeping God. Simply, it's about doing ourpart of the deal and His integrity and faithfulness willcommit Him to do for us His part. You can rely onGod, because it's binding on Him to perform if we doour part. This constant God cannot break His covenantnor alter the things that come out of His mouth...Ps 89:34.The reason we are in the current position is that we havenot fulfilled our part of the covenant. I tell you, if you doyour part you will automatically enter that desired condi-tion. No one can beat God to it. There is no shortcut. Theranking or position in the church or otherwise does notexempt anyone, because the scriptures cannot be broken, not even by God. You cannot either.

Understand that we are above the devil. We died withJesus and were raised up together with Him, and are cur-rently seated with Him in heavenly places far above thedevil and all principalities; unless God did not really meanit (Ephesians 2:6). By virtue of Christ’s redemptive workwe are far above principalities and powers. The devil is nomatch for you. He is a fake lion but our Jesus who calls usHis brethren in Hebrews 2:11 is the real lion of Judah whoprevailed over the fake lion. Why are you being held downby a lack of power fake lion when you have the real “lionic”gene of Jesus in you? Understand that we share thesame DNA with Jesus; which is a good thing to shoutHalleluiah about. Enough is enough, begin to roarand free yourself. All it takes is to resist him and he willflee from you - James 4:7.

Stop looking like a miserable battered beggar. You havebeen bought at the most precious price. You are no longerin the market place. You have been redeemed; therefore, rejoice! You can receive a life-transforming encounterwith the Holy Ghost.

I invite you to join our service at 3366 white plainsroad in the Bronx from 4pm-6:30 pm. By the grace ofGod, you will be taught how to shake off and looseyourself from any grip of the devil.I decree a new dawning to you; take it and receive a visi-tation from the Lord. Rejoice and begin to celebrate God,because you are already coming out of the devil's prisonhouse. Be blessed.I honor Dr David Oyedepo for his mentorship.

Isaw a father walk into a store with two elementary-aged girls. I assume they were his daughters. Theman was wearing a t-shirt with a horrible vulgarity

on it—the kind of thing that still shocks me to see inpublic.

I looked at the man and wondered to myself what hewas thinking. How did he justify putting on that shirtand wearing it in front of two impressionable younggirls? (Not to mention all the other kids who saw hisshirt that day and every other days he wore it.)

Talk about selfish and short-sighted behavior! This isan example ofhow easy it isfor parents, grandparents, and other au-thority figuresto focus onlyon what theywant today,

rather than thinking about the future. What values wasthat father passing on to his daughters?

The inheritance we leave our descendants is more thanjust money. We pass along our strong values. We leavebehind our good name, our positive example of mar-riage, our parenting and life skills, our demonstrationsof affection, and our spiritual guidance. (Or, we passalong the absence of those things.)

Whether bad or good, every parent influences the gen-erations that follow him or her. Godly parents under-stand the power of their influence and use it wisely. They want to extend the blessings of their lives to theirchildren and future generations.

Leaving a good inheritance to future generations neverhappens by accident, because righteousness doesn'thappen by accident. We live in a sin-filled world with an

evil enemy stalking us daily. Living a life that has ahappy ending requires premeditation and toughchoices.

But if we pursue godly lives we will be blessed for it.And, those blessings will be passed along to future gen-erations.

Unfortunately, though, the opposite is also true. Whenparents sin—unless they repent and change their be-havior—their children will always pay a price. This isespecially true of parents with children at home underthe age of 18.

Every action, good or bad, has a generational impactwhether we realize it or not, and whether we intend itor not.

In Exodus 34, the Lord says that the sins of fathers arevisited upon their children, and their children's chil-dren, even to the third and fourth generation. This iscalled generational transference. Negative or positive, everything parents do affects their great-great-grand-children!

Parents who live unrighteous lives do so because theydon't think beyond the moment, or they believe theirbehavior has no bearing on the future. This is a delu-sion.

With every behavioral choice, the questions we shouldbe asking are: What impact will this decision todayhave on my children tomorrow? How will it affect mygrandchildren?

Generational transference happens whether you in-tend it or not. Will yours be positive or negative? Thiswill be determine by the choices you maketoday…and every day.

Blessings,

Generational Transference

When parents sin—unless they repent andchange their behavior—their children will al-ways pay a price

The Flu season is here so here are some impor-tant facts that you need to know in order toprotect yourself and your loved ones.

DEFINITION & CAUSESInfluenza, commonly called the flu, is a viral infectionthat attacks your respiratory system, which includesyour, nose, throat and lungs. The flu viruses travelthrough the air in droplets when someone with the in-fection sneezes, coughs or speaks. The germ contain-ing droplets can be inhaled directly or picked up offobjects such as door knobs, telephones, and computerkey boards, and then transferred to your eyes, nose andmouth.

SYMPTOMSCommon signs and symptoms include;Generalized body aches, especially in your back, armsand legs.Fever over 100 F (38 C), Fatigue and weaknessHeadache, Dry Cough, Chills and sweats, Nasal Con-gestionInitially, the flu may seem like a common cold, with arunning nose, sore throat and sneezing. However, coldsusually develop slowly, whereas the flu comes on sud-denly.

RISK FACTORSFactors that may increase your chances of contractingthe flu virus and its complications are as follows;Age: Seasonal flu tends to target young children andpeople over 65 years.Occupation: Child care personnel and Healthcareworkers are more likely to contract the virus becausethey work closely with people infected with the flu.Chronic illnesses: Chronic conditions inclusive of di-abetes, asthma and heart problems may increase yourrisk of flu complications.

Living Conditions: People who live in facilities

along with many others such as military barracks, nurs-ing homes, dormitories, etc. have a greater risk of de-veloping influenza.Weakened Immune Systems: HIV/AIDS, Cancertreatments can weaken the immune system and makeit easier for you to catch the flu and increase your riskof developing complications.Pregnancy: Pregnant women are more likely to de-velop flu complications, particularly in the second andthird trimesters.

TREATMENTThe treatment for the flu involves the following meas-ures;Drink plenty of liquids; drinking water, juices andsoups can prevent dehydration. You should drinkenough so that you urine is clear or pale yellow.Analgesics; over the counter pain relievers such asPanadol, Tylenol and Motrin can be used to relieve thefever, aches and pains associated with the flu.Rest; bed rest and sleep can help your immune systemfight the infection.Antiviral Meds; prescribed antiviral medications canshorten your illness by a day and help prevent the de-velopment of complications.

COMPLICATIONSIf you are young and healthy, seasonal influenza usu-ally isn’t serious and goes away without any lasting ef-fects. However, those with compromised immunesystems, the very young and elderly among us can de-velop complications such as;Pneumonia (most common and most serious)Sinus infection, Bronchitis, Ear infections

PREVENTIONVaccination: The Center for Disease Control, now rec-ommends annual flu vaccinations for all Americans
