Nothing Compares To Winning Souls For God Proverbs 11:30, Daniel 12:3

According to the Bible in Genesis 1 and 2, when God created the heavens and the earth, He created everything else out

of nothing, saying 'Let there be.....' However, when He was about to create man, He declared, 'Let us make man in

Our image' and finished it by breathing into man's nostrils, the breath of life. This is indicative of the importance and

tremendous value of human beings to God, for man, male or female, is an extension of God. Indeed, the most

valuable asset in heaven and on earth is the human soul. Unfortunately, the most valuable asset in hell would also be

the human soul that ends up there.

God cherishes human beings so much that He desires that every human being makes heaven at last. Hell was not

originally intended for the human soul. This is why Luke. 15:10 says, 'when a soul is saved on earth, the whole of

heaven rejoices.' It is in this light that we have been commanded as Christians to win souls for God. God takes delight

in soul-winners. Winning a soul for God is a wise way of investing our time, energy and resources on earth and comes

with great rewards, both for the present and in eternity. Getting people saved does not

only transform their lives positively; it does also qualify them for the kingdom of God.

Nothing can be more fulfilling. Today, we will be dwelling on the wisdom and fulfillment

in winning souls for God.

1. Why are some Christians not eager to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the

unsaved? Discuss

2. Every human soul is so equally valuable to God that He desires that all be led to find

salvation in Christ and experience transformation in their lives. As God's people, we

must share in this desire and commit our time in laboring to win souls. The

following are some tips to encourage and motivate us as we step out to engage in

soul-winning:

Ÿ Have a Godly mindset on the value of the human soul Luke 15:10

Ÿ Know that as Christians, we are commanded to win souls. Mark 16:15-18, Matt

28:18-20

Ÿ Be consistent in your passion for the lost and unsaved. 2 Tim 4:2.

Ÿ Start with sharing your personal experience of salvation. John 4: 28-29.

Winning souls for God is undoubtedly the wisest thing to do on earth. It touches the heart of God. It is the core of

our assignment as Christians. Therefore, as believers, the smartest use of all the time, resources and opportunities

at our disposal is to invest them in saving and transforming the lives of those around us. This call is not negotiable.

Those who heed the call and continue in it will be forever glorified by God. As you daily set out to obey this call, you

will enjoy heaven's support, and your life will flourish. You will succeed in Jesus' name. Amen.

He gave His only begotten Son…..' By this act we understand that God loves us so much that He

gave Jesus Christ to die for our sins. Since we have enjoyed this much from God, this month we

will be telling others about this great love.

Win A Soul For God Today

Daniel 12:3

God created us in His image and likeness, therefore every human being on earth is an extension of God.

He doesn't desire that any soul should perish and thus He has made believers agents of heaven to

deliver souls from hell and make disciples of all nations. The focus of our discussion today is on why we

need to populate heaven and depopulate hell.

Q1. How can you win a soul for Christ? Discuss.

Q2. We are the light of the world and the salt of the earth. God's Word also says; “He who wins a soul is

wise” (Proverbs 11:30). The following are reasons why you should win a soul for the kingdom of

God;

Ÿ The most valuable asset in this planet is the human soul (Gen 1:26-28, 1John 2:21). Therefore,

we need to love people.

Ÿ The most valuable asset in heaven apart from God is the human soul

Ÿ The most valuable asset in hell is the human soul (Mark 8:36-37)

Ÿ God doesn't want anyone to perish.

God's ultimate desire for man is to live in eternity and enjoy endless fellowship with Him. For every soul

won into God's kingdom, this goal is achieved and this causes much joy and celebration in heaven. As

you step out to win souls. You will succeed in Jesus name.

The most beautiful thing in this world is a changed life. It brings a good feeling to see a life experience total

transformation through an encounter with Jesus Christ, particularly if one is a part of the process. This miracle of

change can happen to anyone regardless of the sphere of life. The business environment particularly provides

an excellent opportunity to interact with a lot of people, either as customers or colleagues. These people could

potentially benefit from Christ undying love if we reach out to them. Every believer has a transformation story

that can be shared with others. The stories can be used to encourage them to choose Christ and experience His

transformational power in their lives as well. Nothing else commands Gods love and attention than a soul

crying for salvation. Influencing people to receive Christ is an investment in eternity. We need to walk in this

consciousness so as to maximize every opportunity to win people to Christ and that shall be the focus of our

discussion today

1. In the course of your day to day interactions either as a business owner or employee, how often do you

share your transformation story? Can you share your experience?

2. The man is the most valuable asset to God. God's love for humanity motivated Him to give His Son in

exchange for man's soul. Seeing that God placed an enormous value on the soul of a man, the most

important investment anyone can make then is to partner with God in soul winning. The points listed below

gives us a few reasons why we need to partner with God to influence souls for Him on earth.

Ÿ Man's soul is valuable to God John 3 vs. 16. Whatever is precious to God should be priority for every

believer

Ÿ There is joy in heaven when a soul turns to God Luke 15 vs. 7-10

Ÿ The most valuable asset to the devil in hell is a human soul. The devil will do all he can to drag people to

hell. We need to stand in the gap. Mark 8 vs. 36 -37

Ÿ It is a fulfillment of our God-given mandate as Christians Mark 16 vs. 15

Ÿ The man that win soul is wise Prov. 11 vs. 30

Investing our time in doing things that will yield reward in eternity, such as soul winning is a practical

demonstration of wisdom, especially in the course of our day to day work. Whatever you invest your time in is

what you are spending your life in. As business men and women who have encountered God's love and

transformational grace, our yearning should be for God to use us to bring someone into a relationship with Him

daily. We should live consciously of the fact that someone somewhere will benefit from our transformation story

if we care to share. You will succeed in Jesus name
