(December 7, 2018)-Displaced Tegaru Relief Fund is pleased to announce it has received $8,965 donation from Dallas Tegaru Mutual Association. These funds will support the displaced Tegaru Relief Fund’s initiative to support internally displaced Tigrayans from various parts of Ethiopia. Displaced Tegaru Relief Fund was established by a coalition of young Diaspora Tegaru professionals, working together to provide relief to the thousands of Tigrayans that have been internally displaced throughout Ethiopia due to the ongoing ethnically motivated attacks against persons of Tigrayan roots. Displaced Tegaru Relief Fund Committee appreciates the Dallas-FortWorth area Tegaru community members for the generous donation and support. We would like to recognize the outstanding and exemplary work that is being carried out by the community leaders Mr. Fissehaye Weldu, Mrs. Almaz Tesfay, Mr. Haile Gebru, Mr. Zeray Berhe, Dr. Birhane Demoz, Mr. Mekonen Fiseha and Mr. Haile Gebretsadik to uplift our community.
