Presenting Your Project

The DISPLAY BOARD is probably the most familiar part of a Science Project. This tri-fold board will show off all your hard work so you want it to be professional. This power point offers several tips for its design and construction. Borders (not necessary) Lettering (Neat-not hand written) Matting (adds color and fills “white space”) Limit colors Table/s & Graph/s (large/full size) Photos (all with proper caption) Reformatting text size…Filling up space (Notice layout) Use diagram on handout for proper placement Small Display boards available for Free A bit larger boards can be purchased at stores such as Staples, Office Depot,

Michaels (about $3-5) Colored, and Extra Thick boards also available at stores.

Reformatted work from your report (18 font or larger if possible

Display board include: Title & Subtitle Purpose Problem (in the form of a Question) Hypothesis Materials list Procedure Data: table(s) & graph(s) & Pictures (all properly labeled) Results Conclusion
