Search Course Catalog is now a course-based search (vs. offering-based) and shows all courses based on your parameters, regardless of whether there is an offering available for enrollment.
There are 2 ways to search:
1. Search by Course Title > Enter the percent sign (%) + word or string of words to get accurate results > Search Course Catalog. This will search for any course with those words in the course title.
2. Or, search by Course Number > Enter the course number in the Course Number field.
Search Course Catalog
15
Browse Course Catalog
This function categorizes the most frequently used courses by subject area. This feature works well if you don’t know what courses are available in CLMS.
16
Based on your search parameters, relevant courses display in your course search results. In the Actions Column next to your course, click the Search Available Offerings link to view offerings available for enrollment. You can view more detailed information (i.e. course description, learning objectives, etc.) by clicking into the course title.
Register for a Course Offering

You can narrow your offering results by sorting by Delivery Type (Web-based vs. Instructor-led) or Location (city) of training.
18
Register for a Course Offering
Click on Go to My Courses to view this course in your current enrollments.
If the course is web-based, click Launch Content to begin the course.
19
Register for an Offering with Manager Approval
Some courses require Manager Approval. If you receive this Registration Notice, click Register.
Note: Since this course requires Manager Approval the Status column shows a value of Pending Approval. Your supervisor will receive an email so that they can approve or reject your request. You will be notified via email upon approval or rejection of the request.
20
Note: If you need an instructor-led offering scheduled due to a required learning requirement, you can click the Course Waitlist action. There is no guarantee that an offering will be scheduled; this is simply a function to gather training demand at certain locations for instructor-led training offerings.
If the Search Available Offerings link is not active in your course search results, there are no offerings scheduled for enrollment.
Course Waitlist Function
21
Course Waitlist Function
Only those requests for instructor-led offerings with a designated location will be addressed. Monthly, a report is generated to capture the requestors and associated learning programs and a list is forwarded to the appropriate deployment & delivery group for future scheduling considerations.

Note: If a certification is part of your Job Role Required Learning, you should always access the learning through your My Required Learning page in CLMS.
