THE SOLUTIONThe logo is a simplified tree growing from a curved river representing the Thames. Reversed out of contemporary, muted colours, the logo and brand represent a fresh, modern attitude and a nurturing, supportive organisation.

THE BRIEFTo update the brand of an established academy, retaining the crown as the central symbol but with a modernised and more professional look across their marketing materials.

THE SOLUTIONWe stylised the crown to create a distinctive symbol that sits on top of a clean and modern sans serif font. With a standardised colour palette and bright and engaging photography, we rolled the new look out across the prospectus and website. The result is a friendly and modern image that retains a link to the school’s tradition and heritage.

THE BRIEFCreate a vibrant and engaging identity for a multi-academy trust comprising non-selective primary and secondary schools all united by a common purpose – to create great schools so that every child regardless of their background has the best opportunity for the future.

THE SOLUTIONThe symbol of the humming bird was chosen to represent tireless energy, persistence and the pursuit of all that is good in life; a metaphor of the trust’s commitment to ensure success both for the trust as a whole and for the individual children.

A stylised and modern shape with a vibrant colour palette expresses energy and diversity. The wings of the bird, in the shape of petals, reflect the motto “grow, learn and flourish.”

THE BRIEFTo develop a contemporary, smart and professional brand that would unify all the centres of one of the largest Sixth Forms in London and appeal to young people. The ultimate aim was to position the HSF as the top choice of young people for Post 16 provision.

THE SOLUTIONIntersecting shapes create flow from one letter to the next while also referencing the modular yet interconnectedness of the Sixth Form. The grouping of shapes creates an exciting and fresh use of the graphic throughout the marketing material. A sophisticated colour palette that is vibrant while being more grown up adds to the contemporary feel.

To ensure the brand would appeal to the right audience, we put the proposed concepts through a consultation with current students. This was their choice.
