WHAT IS COVERED?

LIABILITY INSURANCEThe total Limits of Indemnity in insurances arranged by RIBI are :-
•Employers Liability £10,000,000 any one occurrence
•Public Liability £20,000,000 any one claim
•Products Liability £20,000,000 any one claim and in the aggregate.
INSURANCE
LIABILITY INSURANCE – continued. A Confirmation Letter confirming the details of
these liability insurances is freely available from RIBI Insurance Brokers – Sutton Winson Ltd.
This Letter can be used for events arranged by Clubs and Districts throughout the year.
A copy of this letter is included on the CD – it can be printed out and provided as evidence of the covers applicable.
PERSONAL ACCIDENT COVERThe cover includes Wives, Husbands,
Partners, Friends (inc. Friends of Rotary Groups)
Honorary Rotarians and the like whilst they are
helping at Rotary Events

TRUSTEES POLICY
• Limit of Indemnity is now £2,000,000 in aggregate with an inner Limit £250,000 per Club or District.
• If any Club or District has Funds in excess of £200,000

The Limit of Indemnity is £500,000 any one Claim and the Excess any one Claim is £750.
If a higher Limit of Indemnity is required consult Sutton Winson Ltd.

Terms, Limits, & Excesses etc are all shown in the
booklet – Clubs must be encouraged to be fully conversant with these and apply to RIBI's Insurance Brokers for higher limits and cover for excluded items.
MONEY
“Money in the private residence of any authorised Rotarian”
Under the MONEY COVER there is a limit of £500
No cover if money left unattended (includes in car unless locked away)
There have been several claims in recent years for unexplained losses (particularly involving loss of cash) and these losses cannot be dealt with under this Scheme.
Property
Property insured is:
Regalia comprising presidential and other official chains or jewels of office, bars and medals, other property comprising plaques, banners (including pop-ups), lecterns, bells, trophies, Rotary wheels, furniture (chairs, tables and the like) and display boards and trailers with fixed equipment which are owned by the Club/District.

£6,000 per Club or District in any calendar year
with the following limits applicable :• Chains/jewels of office, bars and medals -
£2,500 per item
• Any other item - £1,000.
REGALIAThe Main Exclusions are :• Theft from unattended vehicles, unless the
items are left out of sight in a locked boot or locked glove compartment.
• Loss or damage to trailers whilst being towed.
• Loss or damage to trailers stored in the open.
• Loss or damage to works of Art, Paintings etc.
Officer and Club Indemnity
• Royal & Sun Alliance• Wrongful act• Wrongful trading - £500,000 including costs• Fidelity cover - £50,000 including costs• Need higher cover? Get Advice....
PROPERTY
BUT IT SHOULD BE REMEMBERED that Cover for increased Sums Insured & Limits and protection in respect of all Excluded Items, can of course be arranged by RIBI’s Insurance Brokers – see booklet “Insurance & the Rotary Club” for their full details.
