Rotary : End Polio Now• 1985 Rotary made a promise to the world

– Eradication of polio– 1,000 cases every day 365,000 a year

• 2012 only 223 cases in the world– Endemic countries

• Pakistan, Afghanistan, India, Nigeria

• 2013 India : 27 months (from January 2011) without a case• 2013, 18 cases compared to 41 in 2012

Rotary : End Polio Now

• Ongoing– Must continue immunisations throughout the world until 100% free

for 3 years– Polio is only a plane ride away

• Please keep making contributions until the job is done!!
