Easy Easter Craft for Kids Tutorial:Step 1: Cut contact paper to oval shape for the egg.

Step 2: Tape down contact paper sticky side up to work surface.

Step 3: Pour rice on contact paper. We used measuring cups and funnels to pour the rice. Be sure to spread the rice around so that the rice sticks to the contact paper.

Step 4: Gently shake off the excess rice.

Step 5: We hung our rice colored eggs in the window as a sun catcher. The sunlight lit up the colored rice beautifully!
