Step by step configure file serverFirst in DC we Add OU and user to each department we want

Start sharing file and in Main folder we add everyone to access but can read only for this folder

In each folder in Main folder like (Account , HR, IT, Finance) we have to remove inheritance from main folder and add the department of user we want

In Account folder we add only account user to access this folder

I. Mail serverMail server is the server to for sending message to each other over the network

Step by step configure mail server

We go to “cd /etc/postfix”

“Vi mail.conf” to configure mail server directory

Creat user sounly

And testing :mail sounly@kmp-th.lan

And use “su –l sounly”to see the mail box of user sounly

Step by step configure pop3 or dovecot to download mail

Use SSH to copy dovecot software and other software dovecot needs to mail server

In squirrel mail folder have (dovecot software and other we need for mail server)

Extract dovecot and software that dovecot need

Go to “/etc/dovecot”. VI dovecot.conf to configure pop3 for download mail

Add pop3 in this line

In this line default are yes so we need to change to no

Enable mail box location

Configure out look on client to testing we can download mail using pop3 or not

Create folder data and attach in /var/local/squirrel mail

Vi main.cf : to write 2 point” smtpd_sasl_type = dovecot”, and “smtpd_sasl_path = private/auth”

“Vi /etc/hosts” : to point the ip address to hostname and domain name
