DO & DONT WITH EPOXIESDO this when mixing and installing epoxy:

Only mix the amount of epoxy that you can use in 1/2 thepot-life. Materials will start to thicken at this point and aremore difficult to work with.Large batches will set up faster than smaller batches. Startby mixing small batches and then increase your batch sizeslowly, to insure that you do not loose your mix.Mix all epoxy thoroughly at least three minutesTake time to measure all epoxy accuratelyUse clean buckets for measuring epoxy in

Use two separate clean buckets one for A resin and one forB resinAlways mix B Resin into A ResinRemember warmer epoxies set much faster then coolerepoxies, so start by making small batches.Wear rubber gloves when using Epoxies

Wear eye protection when using Epoxies

DO & DONT WITH EPOXIESScrape all the Resin out of both A & B containersDispose of Epoxy waste properlyRead all labels before beginning the jobDo separate your A resin from your B resin when your ordercomes in and make sure that everything you ordered has

been delivered before starting your jobDo ask QuestionsClean Epoxies off all skin surfaces as soon as possibleMix Epoxies in small quantitiesUse Epoxies on only clean and sound substratesUse a clean pail to mix your Epoxy inUse a drill mixer of proper size to mix your epoxy withDo use the right product for the right job

DO & DONT WITH EPOXIESDONT do these things when mixing and installing epoxy

Do not mix an entire unit at once unless your experience hasproven that you can mix a batch this size under the conditionsthat you are working. Always start by mixing small batches andslowly increase your batch sizes as needed.

Do not contaminate the two components (resin and/or hardener),always keep them separated from each otherDo not use epoxies without proper personal protection equipmentDo not use epoxy on unclean or unsound surfacesDo not use epoxy on applications in direct sunlight, they willyellow, instead use Urethanes

Do not improperly dispose of an epoxy until it hardensDo not mix batches of epoxy that you cannot use within thespecified pot life. Remember that epoxies set much faster atwarmer temperatures.Do not store your epoxies in hot areas. Storage at hottemperatures will shorten the shelf life.

DO & DONT WITH EPOXIESDo not store your epoxy in cold area. Cold storage can dramaticallyshorten your shelf life.Do not mix epoxy that are very warm. They will have a very shot pot-life.Do not use epoxy after they start getting hotDo not use an epoxy after they start to thickenDo not mix epoxy "A" resin into epoxy "B" hardener, instead mix epoxyhardener "B" component into epoxy resin component "A"Do not stir epoxy only by hand, instead use a drill mixer of proper sizeDo not use an epoxy that you are not sure rather it got mixed right or not.If you do not know if a batch is mixed correctly set it aside and mix a newbatch.Do not mix your epoxies in unclean pails. Always use clean pails to mixyour epoxy in.Do not forget to get all your questions answered before starting your job.

Don't make any assumptions.Do not use Epoxies when temperatures of the air or the substrate will dropbelow 50 degrees F.
