ERM Offices are Giving Back ERM Foundation salutes these and all employees who are committed to Giving Back to their communities. A “Bike to Work Challenge” in Indianapolis resulted in 51 bike trips, carbon emissions reduction of 617 lbs, and raised money in support of the Foundation. Thanks to this generous, earth-minded employee, the 2010 B2WC is preparing to launch. ERMers from the Irvine and Ontario offices work through 90° temperatures to support Habitat for Humanity, and meet the very grateful family who will call this house “home.” The Southern Division “Green Team” rallies each office to participate in coastline cleanups, recycling programs and local environmental projects. President’s Message I NSPIRING - that’s the word I would choose to describe the philanthropic response of ERMers throughout 2009. During a year of economic challenges and adjustments, you demonstrated your commitment to the work of the Foundation and set a new employee giving participation record of 49.6%! In addition, offices from Toronto to Holland held fundraising events to benefit the Foundation. In Indianapolis a bike riding challenge inspired people to reduce their carbon footprint, be fit, and support the Foundation. Your commitment to giving back is a true inspiration and testament of what we can achieve together. But what inspired me even more than your response to the annual campaign and grant awards, was your enthusiasm to give back outside of the traditional Foundation events. In offices throughout North America, employees sought local activities and organized volunteer teams to bring the spirit of the Foundation and its mission directly to the communities where they live and work. Hundreds of employees and families participated in Earth Day and Coastal Cleanup Day activities, employees in Southern California donated their time and building talents to Habitat for Humanity and offices in our Southern division pledged their commitment to office recycling. In the year ahead, the Foundation is developing a new strategic plan, working to further “green” the campaign with electronic pledging, and designing an educational scholarship award program. We will continue to support local volunteer activities, work to increase national volunteer opportunities, and focus on improving year-round communication to help us all stay better connected. ERM Offices are Giving BackERM Foundation salutes these and all employees who are committed to Giving Back to their communities.

A “Bike to Work Challenge” in Indianapolis resulted in 51 bike trips, carbon emissions reduction of 617

lbs, and raised money in support of the Foundation. Thanks to this generous, earth-minded employee, the

2010 B2WC is preparing to launch.

ERMers from the Irvine and Ontario offices work

through 90° temperatures to support Habitat for

Humanity, and meet the very grateful family who will

call this house “home.”

The Southern Division “Green Team” rallies each office to participate in coastline cleanups, recycling programs and local environmental projects.

Exton employees wear bare feet, clown feet and lots of in-between feet to raise $350 and collect 15 pairs of new shoes in support of Samaritan Feet.

President’s MessageInspIrIng - that’s the word I would choose to describe the philanthropic response of ERMers throughout 2009. This tremendous support allowed volunteers to award almost $200,000 in grants to 35 local, national and international organizations.

Your commitment to “walk the talk” has inspired us all.

As we all settle into 2010, David Murtha of the Rochester office is settling into his new volunteer role as Board President for the North America Foundation. By Giving Back, each of us has personally contributed to the success of the ERM Foundation-North America. As I complete my term as Board President, I am truly inspired by your commitment. Thank you all.

Sincerely,
