DO I BELIEVE IN

GOD?

THe bible tells us God is our creator. It tells us that God is perfect in everyway, that He has no flaw. God is and always was. God is Knowable, Approachable, Creative, Forgiving, Honest, and Capable. The bible tells us "Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom or the strong man boast of his strength or the rich man boast of his riches, but let him who boasts boast about this: that He understands and knows me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight," declares the Lord. (Jeremiah 9:23,24) . The bible tells us many things about God, but I personally believe God is the Father of all and we are his children. I believe that we will never truly know God until we meet him face to face in Heaven.

Who is God?

Since a young child, I was always taught that there was such thing as an all mighty God. But I always had my doubt about the existence of a God I could not see. But as time went on, I have learned to accept the fact that there is a God. I have learned that as human beings we look for answers to things that are unexplainable and for us to explain our existence we believe in God the almighty. And our faith tells us that He does exist, so we believe He does.

Why Do I believe In God?

Personally I feel there is a million reasons why I would not believe in God, but at the same time there are Billions of reasons why I would believe God. The reason I believe in God is because of FAITH. Faith is believing in something that cannot be seen, proved, or explained. The reason I believe in God is because in my life there has been occasions where I would call impossible to get out of and/or a sure road to failure, and I have been lead out with no harm done. These occasions were not a coincidence or by chance. There was something leading me and I feel that that guide was God. If not him then who else?

What keeps me believing in God?

I feel as if God has shown himself, through his son Jesus. I also think God is a God of patience. I feel He allows us to choose our own faith, so we wont feel as if He controls us. If God doesn’t show himself to us today it is because ,He wants to test us to find which of us are truly faithful. So I think God keeps his visual self from us to find out the people who truly love him no matter if they cant see him. And I believe He only shows himself to those worthy.

Why do I think God has not shown himself to me?

To tell the truth, there is no way that I can prove there is a God. But I have faith that He does exist. And the fact that I am living and alive that proves to me that there is a God.

How can I tell if tHere is a God?

If I was in front of God right now I would tell him how much I am grateful that He put me in the family I am in and grateful for the people that I meet in my life. I would ask him, how did He come to be. I would ask him what Hell really looked like and if there was any such thing. I would ask him if there really was such thing as Purgatory. I would have so many things to say to him the list would practically be endless.

If I were in front of God right now,

what would I tell/ask him?
