Estimados Feligreses,
El sacerdocio es una vocación tan asombrosa y es una vida maravillosa. ME
ENCANTA ser sacerdote. Esto no quiere decir que no venga con sus desafíos, lo
hace, al igual que la vocación de la vida matrimonial, pero es una vida que me
satisface y me llena por completo. Dios me dijo, tal como les dijo a los discípulos
en la lectura del Evangelio de hoy: "Venid en pos de mí, y os haré pescadores de
hombres". Ser amante de Dios y pescador de hombres satisface mi alma. Cada
vez que alguien deja la confesión aliviado y en paz, mi alma revive. Cada vez que
una persona recibe los Últimos Ritos y su alma está preparada para entrar al
cielo, me llena de alegría saber que Dios me usó para hacer una diferencia
eterna. Con cada misa, bendición de hogar, conversación, comida con feligreses,
bautismos, quince años, confirmaciones, bendición de tres años y bodas, siem-
pre me sorprende cómo Dios me está usando, un vaso roto, para encontrar y
santificar a su pueblo santo.
La vocación al sacerdocio o la vida religiosa hará que los llamados a él sean tan
felices como podrían serlo en esta vida. ¿No queremos esto para nuestros hijos,
hacer la voluntad de Dios y ser felices y realizados? Ore para que su hijo tenga la
vocación de ser sacerdote o hermana religiosa. Animen a sus hijos a pedirle a
Dios que les revele su vocación.
Necesitamos sacerdotes y religiosos buenos, santos, felices y sanos. Si
desanimamos a nuestros hijos para que no respondan al llamado, entonces no
solo estamos negando la voluntad de Dios y robándoles la felicidad, sino que
también estamos robando a las personas a quienes algún día ministrarían. Sí, ha
habido sacerdotes y religiosos terribles como ha habido esposos y padres
terribles, pero eso no niega la belleza de estas vocaciones.
Oren por los sacerdotes y religiosos, oren por nuestros obispos y oren para que
las vocaciones sacerdotales y religiosas sean RESPONDIDAS desde nuestra
parroquia y nuestras familias. Dios nos está dando muchas vocaciones y está
llamando a nuestros hijos a ser pescadores de hombres, tal como lo hizo con los
discípulos hace 2000 años, pero nuestros hijos tienen que ser apoyados y
animados a decir SÍ, dejará todo a un lado, sigan a Jesús y conviértanse en
pescador de hombres.

Dear Parishioners,
Priesthood is such an amazing vocation and it is a wonderful life. I LOVE being a
priest. This is not to say that it does not come with its challenges, it does, just
like the vocation of married life, but it is a life that completely satisfies and fulfills
me. God told me, just like he told the disciples in the Gospel reading today,
"Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men." Being a lover of God and a
fisher of men satisfies my soul. Every time someone leaves confession relieved
and at peace, my soul is revived. Every time a person receives the Last Rites and
their soul is prepared to enter heaven, I am overjoyed to know that God used me
to make an eternal difference. With every Mass, home blessing, conversation,
meal with parishioners, baptism, quinceaños, confirmation, tres años blessing,
and wedding I am always amazed how God is using me, a broken vessel, to
encounter and sanctify His holy people.
The vocation to the priesthood or religious life will make those called to it as
happy as they could ever possibly be in this life. Don't we want this for our
children, to do God's will and be happy and fulfilled? Please pray that your child
may have the vocation to be a priest or religious sister. Please encourage your
children to ask God to reveal to them their vocation.
We need good, holy, happy, and healthy priests and religious. If we discourage
our children from answering the call, then not only are we denying God's will
and robbing them of happiness, but we are also robbing the people to whom
they would one day minister. Yes, there have been terrible priests and religious
just as there have been terrible spouses and parents, but that does not negate
the beauty of these vocations.
Please pray for priests and religious, please pray for our bishops, and please pray
for priestly and religious vocations to be ANSWERED from our parish and from
our families. God is giving us plenty of vocations and is calling our children to be
fishers of men, just like He did to the disciples 2,000 years ago, but our children
have to be supported and encouraged to say YES, I will set aside
everything, follow Jesus, and become a fisher of men.

Today, January 24, 2021 Pick up your tacos!
ATTENTION ALL ALTAR SERVERS All Altar servers are required to be present at our meeting on Jan 30th
Saturday morning from 10 AM to 12:00 PM. It is necessary that
everyone attends the meeting. We continue to have the same Altar
servers attend and the same Altar servers not attend. This puts a strain on
everyone when we are trying to serve God and our community of St.
Robert's as we serve during Mass. Please continue to pray for us and this
ministry.

Casa San Roberto
Construction continues to go according to
schedule and the ductwork and plumbing are
being installed. Next week the electrical wiring
comes in and in February the Spanish tile roof and
the stone siding will be installed. If you would like

Sanctuary Renovation
We have received the complete amount, $7,800,
needed for putting tile in the sanctuary. This past
week the tile was selected and it should be installed
by the end of February. We thank donors for their
generous contributions.

Casa San Roberto
La construcción continúa según lo programado y se

Todos los monaguillos deben estar presente en nuestra junta el sábado
30 de enero por la mañana de 10 AM. A 12:00 PM. Es muy importante que
todos asistan a la junta. Seguimos teniendo los mismos monaguillos que

sobre todos cuando tratamos de servir a Dios y a nuestra comunidad de
San Roberto mientras servimos durante la Misa. Por favor, continúe
