As we get closer to diving into your Capstone Project in which you will research a topic in order to develop an argument that you defend through writings, analysis, and presentations, use this CONCEPT MAP to guide your research.
1. Type your topic in the center
2. Develop three essential questions you want to answers to - these are upper Bloom’s questions - see examples.
3. Start looking for titles for each of your materials and place those under each question.
4. This is flexible and changeable as you research, but you should refer to it and continue to fill it out as it will guide you to you major thesis. Each Capstone Work Day you should be adding this Concept Map.
5. Periodically, Mr. Schutz will ask you to print your Concept Map out to track your progress.
