Known Issue

If you have a very early model NeatDesk scanner (from 2008 and earlier) AND you areusing software that communicates directly to peripherals connected via the USB port,your NeatDesk scanner may become unresponsive if connected before NeatWorks isrunning on OS X 10.6.8 and later. Applications which trigger this behavior includeFujitsus ScanSnap Manager application, and Apples GarageBand application.

To work around, disconnect and reconnect your scanner, or choose Scan/ScanSettings from the NeatWorks menu and click the Diagnostics button. If neither ofthese workarounds succeed, disconnect your scanner, reboot your Mac, then startNeatWorks before reconnecting your scanner.
