1. Introduction

1.1. This document specifies the basic qualification requirements that the candidates shall meet to become qualified suppliers for SE, a.s. for the contracts in the area of generator maintenance. The qualification (candidates’ inclusion into the qualification system) is successful if the candidate meets all the qualification requirements published in the General Terms and Conditions for Qualification Systems (GTCQ) in a manner specified therein, as well as the requirements set out by these source documents (Source Documents). GTCQ comprise a part of the Source Documents in form of a separate document. In case of different terms and conditions in the GTCQ and Documents the terms and conditions specified in the Source Documents shall prevail.

1.2. The qualification system is managed for the following types of generators:

1.2.4 Hydro power plants - HPP:

List of generators provided in Annex 2.

1.3. The qualification system for maintenance, repair, and rewinding of generators is managed for the following activity categories:

A. Maintenance during the general overhaul (hereinafter referred to as GO), regular overhaul (hereinafter referred to as RO) and repair of defects on a generator and its accessories, independently on the complete or a part of generators (the activity is carried out in technological premises of one of the SE, a.s. plants);

B. Repair and re-winding of generator rotors and generator exciter rotors, independently without the need of external technical support (the activity is usually carried out in the contractor's premises);

C. Repair on the generator stator (winding and magnetic circuit repairs) and its accessories, independently (the activity is carried out in the technological premises of one of the SE plants or in the contractor's premises);

D. Repairs and revisions of the static excitation systems and accessories (the activity is carried out in technological premises of one of the SE, a.s. plants).





1.4. The candidate shall be included in the category for which the request was placed by them, if the documents submitted as specified under point 3 are assessed as satisfactory for the category chosen by the candidate.

2. Description of the Subject from the Merchandising Group GENERATORS - MAINTENANCE, REPAIR

2.1 Category A – GO, RO of the generator, exciters, and auxiliary systems

Provision: technical background, documentation provision from the manufacturer

Qualified personnel: technician, installation supervisor, electrician, generator specialist, winding

specialist, slinger

Material equipment: spare parts, consumables, tools, preparations, single-purpose storage racks,

measurement devices

Scope of work - generators and exciters

- Dismantling, installation of noise-proof cover; - Disconnection, connection of couplings LP2-G, G-ME; - Dismantling, installation of oil and water piping G, ME; - Dismantling, installation of generator collecting equipment; - Extraction and insertion of generator rotor; - Dismantling, installation of generator parts; - Dismantling of phase current and neutral penetrations; - Dismantling, installation of the exciter; - Dismantling, installation of main exciter (ME) collecting equipment; - Dismantling, installation of ME winding covers of the front and back side; - Dismantling of the ME bearing stand and bearing brass; - Extraction and insertion of the ME rotor from the stator together with the bearing stand on

the back side;

Oil system

- Repair of the vacuum set; - Repair of coolers and filters of sealing oil; - Repair of oil system valves; - Repair of sealing oil system pump electromotors;

Gas system

- Control of hydrogen removal by CO2 gas and rinsing by air; - Repair of gas system valves; - Repair of hydrogen driers;

Water System

- Repair of stator water levelling vessel; - Repair of stator water coolers; - Repair of water system valves; - Repair of stator water pump electromotors and component cooling system;





2.2 Category B - Repairs and re-winding of generator and exciter rotors

Technical parameters of the generator rotor: length 10 m, weight 45 t

Provision: technical background, documentation provision from the manufacturer, oversize transport

Spatial provisions: workshops, trial tunnel, metal treatment machines, induction heaters, and

clamps

Qualified personnel: technician, installation supervisor, electrician, winding specialist with welding

tests for CO2

Material equipment: spare parts, consumables, preparations, single-purpose storage racks,

measurement devices

Scope of work:

- Removal and installation of the coupling from the side of the turbine;

- Removal and installation of rotor winding rings;

- Extraction of sunk keys form the mortises and their re-installation after the replacement of

the winding;

- Modification of pivots under bearings, fans, rings and seals;

- Rotor levelling;

- Trial run in measurement tunnel;

- Measurement of electric quantities (Riz, Ohmic resistance);

- Rotor pressure test;

- Issuing protocols and final report of the repair;

2.3 Category C - Repairs and re-winding of generator stators

Provision: technical background, documentation provision from the manufacturer

Qualified personnel: revision technician for pressure and gas vessels, installation supervisor,

electrician, winding specialist with welding tests for CO2

Material equipment: spare parts, tools, consumables, preparations, measurement devices

Scope of work:

Repair of generator stator winding

- Loosening the epoxide heads and disconnection of teflon hoses from the winding and water

rings;

- Extraction of sunk keys, unsoldering and unbanding of the winding;

- Replacement of the winding rods;

- Banding, soldering, and varnishing of the winding, installation of sunk keys;

- Partial pressure tests of the stator winding;

- Installation of hoses and subsequent stator pressure test (coolers, water rings, hoses,

winding);

Extraction of the stator core

- Disconnection and dismantling of the water rings;

- Dismantling of the stator water coolers;

- Dismantling of water and phase current penetrations;





- Disconnecting of measurement sensors and thermal sensors;

- Removal of the stator core on stator springs;

Control of the magnetic circuit

- Magnetisation test;

- Repair of the stator's magnetic circuit, replacement of keys and re-insulation of plates;

2.4 Category D – Repair and revisions of static excitation systems and their accessories

Tightening current joints;

Replacing dust filters;

RO of fans;

Revisions, measurements, and set up of el. circuits of excitations systems;

3. Qualification Requirements

3.1. Basic requirements the candidate is obliged meet in order to fulfil the qualification terms and conditions are divided as follows:

Personal status conditions;

Economic and financial standing conditions;

Requirements on technical and professional competence, quality assurance.

Terms and conditions related to the personal status, economic and financial standing, as well as the method of submitting, certifying and documenting the qualification requirements by the candidates in this qualification system is specified in the GTCQ.

3.2. Requirements concerning the technical and professional competence, quality assurance.

3.2.1. The candidates fulfil technical and professional qualifications for each category from A to D of the qualification system if:

They have provable experience in the delivery of similar subjects;

They have qualified personnel and organisational structure for the delivery of similar subjects;

They have a quality management system related to the given subject documented and functional pursuant to ISO 9001

They have an occupational health and safety (OH&S) system documented and functional pursuant to OHSAS 18001:2007 standards;

3.2.2. The candidate shall demonstrate their technical and professional qualification and quality of delivery by submitting the following documents for the respective categories: An overview of documents required for the respective categories is included in Annex 1. The required documents shall be uploaded to the myHome system.

a. A list of contracts (references), at least one of the same or similar nature, performed during

the last 5 years, in each category for which the candidate is being qualified;

Each category must include the specification of the generator type and category to which the

reference is related. The information about the contracts performed (references) shall be

presented by the candidate for each category for which they wish to qualify.





The candidate will present the information about the contracts performed (references) using a

form the template of which is available after having registered for the relevant qualified

merchandising group at myHome. Each contract performance shall be confirmed by the

customer; unless this is possible, it shall be confirmed by a declaration on word of honour from

the candidate. SE is entitled to verify the facts provided in the List of Contracts with the

candidate's client.

b. One of the following documents proving the knowledge of generator construction:

A document proving that the candidate is a manufacturer of generators or their parts or a

holder of a licence from a manufacturer for the production or repair of generators,

specifically at least one type of generators with the output specified under clauses 1.2

hereof;

Contract with the manufacturer or a holder of the licence from the manufacturer for

production or repairs, specifically for at least one type of the generator, with the output as

specified in clauses 1.2 hereof, which will contain the manufacturer's or licence holder's

commitment, applicable during the candidate's qualification, to provide technical

supervision and installation supervision in relation to the performance of the subject from

the qualification system;

Document (e. g. a contract) proving that for the performance the candidate has a worker

who will perform technical supervision - having technical capacity to provide expert

opinions and evaluations of the conditions as found and to suggest solutions to resolve

issues, together with the documents about his educations background, professional CV

and references from a client related to the performance of technical supervisions;

c. A list of personnel holding a certificate for the performance of authorised safety technician activities pursuant to Art. 24 of Act No. 124/2006 Coll. on Occupational Health and Safety, who will also provide the coordination of safety at work, pursuant to Art. 6 of the SR Government Regulation No. 396/2006 Coll.;

The list shall contain the name, surname, qualification and legal relationship to the contractor (employee, sub-contractor, physical person - entrepreneur). In order to verify the qualification of the personnel, the certificates of professional capability of the personnel must be uploaded in the myHome system.

d. A list of profession titles which are available to perform the contracts from the qualification system. The list shall also include the information about the legal relationship with the personnel performing the said professions (employee, sub-contractor, physical person - entrepreneur). In order to meet the qualification conditions the candidate must have the following professions available: The required number of workers for the respective category is included in Annex 1.

Slingers - slinger authorisation pursuant to § 17 (2) of Regulation No. 508/2009 Coll. establishing the details to ensure occupational health and safety when working with pressure, lifting, electrical and gas equipment and specifying the technology which is considered as classified technical equipment;

Electricians

Generator specialists

Installation supervisors with a CV submitted for each installation supervisor whereby the customer confirms that the worker did perform this profession;

Winding specialists





Construction supervision - a certificate pursuant to the provisions of § 46b of Act No. 50/1976 Coll. on Zoning Planning and Building Code (Building Act) as amended in relation to §1d of Act No. 138/1992 Coll. on authorised architects and civil engineers as amended, for the management of constructions and performance of construction supervision;

The workers performing the work (electricians, generator specialists, winding specialists, and installation supervisors) must hold a certificate pursuant to §21, 22, or 23 without voltage restrictions pursuant to Regulation No. 508/2009 Coll. establishing the details to ensure occupational health and safety when working with pressure, lifting, electrical and gas equipment and specifying the technology which is considered as classified technical equipment;

Certificates of professional qualification shall be submitted by all the personnel before starting the work related to the particular delivery.

e. Quality certificate for the respective qualification subject issued by an independent institution pursuant to the requirements of EN ISO 9001 or any other document (Quality Manual) proving that the candidate has the management system employed according to EN ISO 9001 standards.

f. OH&S management system certificate according to OHSAS 18001 standards besides the categories B and C if the repairs are performed in the suppliers´premises. When candidate doesn´t have certified OH&S management, he has to fill in the questionnaire „HSE checklist“ which is stated in the attachment of this documentation, by which SE, a.s. consider OH&S management functionality. Completed questionnaire together with the documents and information required in the questionnaire the candidate submits in myHome on the form „Documentation“ in the second part of the qualification questionnaire. Candidate has to achieve 14 points from the total 28 points by the HSE checklist evaluation for qualification.

g. A list of mechanical and electrical equipment necessary for proper performance of work, wither owned or rented, such as common fitter and electrician tools including the meters and common electrical manual tools (grinders, drills, welding tools, rotor levelling equipment, etc.). The list must contain the title and description of the equipment and the relationship of the candidate to it (ownership, operative leasing, rent). SE is entitled to verify the facts provided in the list by means of an audit in the contractor's organisation. The candidate shall declare in the list that they agree with such audit, if carried out.

h. A list of premises and workshops which are available for the performance of repairs, which are equipped with suitable equipment in such a way that the candidate is capable of performing the activity specified in the qualification subject. The list must contain the location of the premises, dimensions and the relationship of the contractor to it (ownership, operative leasing, rent). SE is entitled to verify the facts provided in the list by means of an audit in the contractor's organisation. The candidate shall declare in the list that they agree with such audit, if carried out.
