Cassidy Turley Retro-commissioning Hyattsville, MD Facility Engineering Associates, P.C. (FEA) services included an ASHRAE Level I Audit, a refrigerant compliance analysis, retro-commissioning services, and the review and revision of the sequence of operations pertaining to all major base building HVAC equipment and lighting. During the execution of these phases, FEA worked closely with building staff and management to provide a detailed analysis of the building’s HVAC systems and lighting and identified energy conservation measures and tested the volumetric flow rate of the air distribution and ventilating systems. FEA partnered with C&W Tesco Inc. and performed retro-commissioning on major base building HVAC equipment including the chiller plant equipment, air-handling units, variable-air-volume boxes, and ventilation fans. FEA also studied trending data collected by data loggers placed strategically throughout the building to identify energy efficiency opportunities and equipment malfunctions. Drawing on FEA’s unmatched knowledge of building operation and engineering and C&W Tesco’s unparalleled dedication to thorough equipment testing, we were able to provide the client with a comprehensive report detailing an assortment of energy conservation measures.
