Jan. 27th – Last day to turn in Office Application and copy of report
card to the ELA teacher.May 13th– Last day to turn in Off Campus PE form**JUNE 9th– Last day for schedule changes**

Distinguished Graduation Plan
• 4 credits of Math including Algebra II• 4 credits of Science• Curriculum requirements of at least one
endorsement.
High School Credit Classes at Doerre
• All high school credit courses grades are posted on your high school transcript
• A student who misses more than 9 days in a semester will be denied credit unless a doctor note is presented
• Students must be present on the day of the course final exam or they will receive a zero unless they provide a doctor note
• Exams may not be taken early

Digital Design Media Production• Prerequisite – Proficient in Technology
Applications and no more than 2 U’s in Technology Application grades in 6th or 7th grade
• Project based course focused on learning design theory and technology skills to produce visual and audio products.

Digital Design Media Production (Hybrid)
• Prerequisite –Proficient in Technology Application and student should be a goal-oriented, self-motivated, independent learner.
• Advanced level, fast-paced virtual environment. Project- based course focused on learning design theory and technology skills to produce visual and audio products.
• Students should have a home computer with high-speed internet access and the Adobe CC Suite.
• High School Credit Elective Course • Full year course
Digital Communication in the 21st Century • Prerequisite –Mastery and proficiency of knowledge and
skills in keyboarding, computer skills and word processing.
• Prepares student for the societal demands of increased civic literacy, independent working environments, global awareness and the mastery of a base set of analysis and communication skills
• Combines computer skills of electronic design, editing, and production of a product that requires demonstrations using multimedia tools.

Principles of Human Services
Semester high school credit class that covers personal human development, human services careers such as child care, cooking, decision making skills, and positive relationships
Gateway to Technology I• Collaborative project-based class• Use of design software to design and create virtual
images of playground and furniture• Study history and influence of automation and
robotics• Study of mechanical systems, energy transfer,
machines and computer control systems• Build and program real-world objects that may
include traffic lights, toll booths and robotic arms.• Fee associated with this HS elective course
Gateway to Technology II• Hands-on exploration of electricity, the
behavior and parts of atoms, and sensing devices.
• Students examine the impact of electricity and develop knowledge and skills in basic circuitry design.
• Fee associated with this HS elective course
Professional Communications• Semester High School Credit Elective• Students will explore a variety of career
options and develop an understanding of the relationship between academic skills and potential career goals
Communication Applications• High school elective credit class that develops
professional and social speaking skills
