2. Connectthe5834harnesstothewiringharnessesinthevehicle.Theseharnessesaretheonesremovedinstep7ofdashdisassembly.Theninsertthe5834harnessintoport“A”inthetouchscreendisplay.Butdonotinstallthisharnessuntilexactlybeforestep1of“InitializingtheInterface”.Thisisatimedprocess.

3. Connectthe4-pinharnesswithyellowRCAjacksintoport“C”inthetouchscreendisplay.

4. Disregardports“D”and“E”,theywillnotbeusedinthisapplication.

5. Port“F”isanupdateportforfuturefirmwareupgrades.

3. Programthekit:

a. Oncethetouchscreendisplayloadsup,selectthevehicletype;“FordF-150”.

b. Waituntiltheradiocomeson,andthetouchscreendisplayshows“SWCConfigured*”.Thisprocessmaytakeupto3minutes.

Note:Ifthetouchscreendisplaydoesnotloadup,ortheradiodoesn’tcomeonwithin3minutes,and/orthetouchscreendisplaydoesnotshow“SWCConfigured*”,turnthevehicleoffanddisconnectthe5838harnessesfromport“A”inthetouchscreendisplay.Checkalltheconnections,reconnecttheharnessintothetouchscreendisplay,andthentryagain.

4. Testallfunctionsoftheinstallationforproperoperation,beforereassemblingthedash.

2. Snaptheradiotrimpanelwithtouchscreendisplayoverthecompletedassembly,andthenreassemblethedashinreverseorderofdisassembly.

• Eclipse:Conecteelcabledelcontrolenelvolante,normalmentemarrón,alcabledelconector marrón/blanco.Despuésconecteelcabledelcontrolenelvolanterestante,normalmente marrón/blanco,alcabledelconectormarrón.

• Equipo original Metra:ConecteelcableKey1(gris)delcontrolenelvolantealcablemarrón.

3. Conecteelarnésde4pinsconconectoresRCAamarillosenelpuerto“C”enlapantallatáctil.

4. Ignorelospuertos“D”y“E”;noseutilizaránenestaaplicación.

5. Elpuerto“F”esunpuertodeactualizaciónparaactualizacionesdefirmwarefuturas.

9. (a) Para los modelos con una pantalla de 4.2 pulgadas:Conecteelarnésdelacámaradereversade12pinsalarnésdelcableadoenelvehículo.Estearnéseselqueseretiradelpaso5eneldesmontajedeltablero.

(b) Para los modelos con una pantalla de 8 pulgadas:Conecteelconectorhembradelarnésdelacámaradereversade54pinsalarnésdelcableadoenelvehículo.Esteconectorselocalizadetrásdelapantalladefábricaqueseretiróenelpaso5eneldesmontajedeltablero.

10. Localiceelconectordelaantenadefábricaeneltableroyrealicetodaslasconexionesnecesariasalradio.MetrarecomiendaelusodeunadaptadoradecuadodeacoplamientodeMetra.

2. Oprimaelbotónparaencenderelvehículo.

3. Programarelkit:

a. Tanprontocomosecarguelapantalla,seleccioneeltipodevehículo;“FordF-150”.

b. Espereaqueseenciendaelradioylapantallatáctilmuestre“SWCConfigured*”. Esteprocesopuederequerirhasta3minutos.

Nota:Silapantallatáctilnosecargaoelradionoseenciendeenlossiguientes3minutos,y/olapantallatáctilnomuestra“SWCConfigured*”,apagueelvehículoydesconectelosarneses5834delpuerto“A”enlapantallatáctil.Revisetodaslasconexiones,vuelvaaconectarelarnésalapantallatáctileinténtelodenuevo.

4. Pruebetodaslasfuncionesdelainstalaciónparaverificarlaoperacióncorrectaantesdevolveraensamblareltablero.

2. Coloqueapresiónelpaneldelamolduradelradioconlapantallatáctilsobreelensamblecompletoyluegovuelvaaarmareltableroalrevésdecómolodesarmó.
