STEP #1:

Know more about the background of your client’s business so that you

know what to ask and what to propose when you meet them.

Research!

STEP #2:

The first meeting is always the most important one. Ask everything

you need to know.

Meet your client.

What is the purpose of your website? Who is your target user? What are your products (or services)? What color scheme do you want to use? What layout style do you want to use? Do you have content already? (if yes, ask for the outline) What functions or features do you want your website to have? When is the deadline?

Some guide questions to ask your client:

STEP #3:

Your proposal must contain the following: scope of the project, the cost, and the terms and conditions.

In other words: this is your contract.

Create A Proposal

STEP #4:

Have your client sign your contract and ask for a down payment before

starting any work.

Different layouts, different color schemes, different concepts.

Create design studies

Make sure to submit these designs within a week (at the latest) after your client have signed your contract and paid the

down payment.

Suggest to your client to prepare the content while you are working on the

designs.

A progress payment can be requested from the client after submitting the

design studies.

Remember!

STEP #7:

Submit the website to your client for testing of bugs and proof

Once your client is happy with the website, do not forget to ask for

the remaining balance first before uploading the website in their own

hosting accounts.
