+Are you Doing God’s Will?

Matthew 7: 21-23 21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.22 Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' 23 And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'

+Do you Belong To God’s Family?

Mark 3:35 “For whoever does the will of God is My brother and My sister and mother."

+Eternity is connected only through doing the will of God.

I John 2: 15-17

15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world--the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life--is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

+How do we Pray for His Will?

Ps 143:10 “Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness”

Luke 11:2 “So He said to them, "When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come.Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.”

Col 4:12 “Epaphras, who is one of you, a bondservant of Christ, greets you, always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.”

+God’s Will for “My” Life!Rather than seeking to plug God’s life and will into ours, can we seek God’s will and understand that ours will find it’s fulfillment in that?

Is it difficult to realize that God’s agenda dates from timeless eternity and His will was crafted before we were fashioned?

Does it occur to you that we were made to the specification of his divine intentions, and our best use is found only in Him?

When did we replace our with my? When did I replace His with mine? When did I lose the love of the community in exchange for selfishness and personal agenda.

+Here is God’s Will – Are you doing it?

1 Tim 2:3 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time,

John 6: 40 “And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day."
