Don Bosco Technological Instute (DBTI), located at Tau- rama Road, East Boroko in the Naonal Capital District, is a private Catholic school owned and administered by the Salesians of Don Bosco. It aims to form the young people to become technical instruct- tors, supervisors, managers, and skilled workers. In November 2016 DBTI gained its recognion as an independent private higher educaon instuon from the Department of Higher Educaon, Sci- ence and Technology (DHERST). The Instuon contrib- utes towards the realizaon of PNG Vision 2050 with fo- cus on empowering human development, Gender, youth, people and environment. At present, TESAS Scholar- ships are awarded to majority of DBTI students Selected through the DHERST Naonal Selecon Process. Vision We, a Don Bosco community in a Catholic institute of higher learning, are passionate about the young becoming committed and highly qualified in integral education and innovative technology. 3. THE BACHELOR OF EDUCATION - TECHNICAL is a

four-year program designed to combine technician and pre-service teacher education. Upon graduation, the Teaching Service Commission awards the Provisional Reg-istration Certificate that enables graduates to take up teaching positions within the Papua New Guinea Educa-tion System. This program has minor options in English, Mathematics or Religious Education.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum entry level requirements for Degree and Diplo-ma Programs is a grade of “C” in Physics, Chemistry or Biology. “C” grade in Applied English & Language and Literature and “B” grade in General Mathematics and Advanced Mathematics in the Grade 12 School Certifi-cate or its equivalent in recognized Matriculation stud-ies. Distance Education programs or other schools abroad. *Language proficiency (oral & written) is highly desired.
