Every $1.00 in credit union taxes could wipe out $10.00 in member benefits. A potential increase in fees for members. 96 million members could be impacted.

86% of voters are unaware of Credit Unions’ tax status. Banks have an opening to claim that Credit Unions’ tax exempt status is unfair. Idea that taxing Credit Unions could help fix the deficit.
