1. GENERAL 1.1 DETAILS OF IMPORTANT TECHNICAL WORK DONE AT

LPTs / VLPTs DURING THE MONTH

1. General maintenance of transmitter undertaken, all modules i.e. SMPS, Switcher & all input/monitor rack equipments cleaned and loose connections tightened. 2. All necessary precautions for smooth working of transmitter were undertaken.

LPT Kuru-

kshetra

1. The Earth Resistance of 5 pits has been measured using Waco Digital Earth Resistance meter.

2. PA s Combiner unit attended to remove loose connection of combiner on heat sink which was causing reflections in Lower PA.

3. Preventive Maintenance of 15 KVA DG has been carried out. 4. All the electrical connections checked and tightened. 5. Monthly Preventive maintenance of the transmitter has been carried out.

6. All necessary precautions to run the transmitter smoothly have been undertaken.

LPT Ambala

1. General maintenance of transmitter undertaken. 2 Preventive Maintenance of AC has been carried out. 3. Preventive Maintenance of 15 KVA DG has been carried out 4. Control card of AVR repaired and one No.40 Amp of 10KVA AVR replaced as 40 Amp DP of AVR got heated up during course of operation. 5. Faulty single phase meter of DG panel replaced with new Volt meter.

LPT Yamuna--

agar

1. General cleaning & maintenance of Transmitter carried out. 2. Three Nos MCB 32 Amp, 20 Amp & 6 Amp found damaged replaced with new MCB s. One no DP 20 Amp also replaced in supply panel. 3. VIVA make AC repaired after replacing its compressor thimble. Now AC is working O.K.

LPT Jind

1. General Maintenance of Transmitter. 2. One 45mfd 440 volt capacitor was leaky in AC. Anew capacitor of same capacity taken from store and replaced. AC is now working o.k. 3. General maintenance of D.G set has been carried out.

LPT Kaithal

1 The routine maintenance carried out on transmitter rack, input rack and Monitoring rack. All the units dust blown off with the help of vacuum cleaner and Clean with soft cloth.
