Product DescriptionThis phone enables you to make calls and send text messages. It has a 4.3cm (1.7inch) colour screen which displays numbers in 7mm high print making reading the

number dialed easier. It has large buttons with a slight ridge between each rowtogether with a dimple on the number five button to help you locate each button.

(Not relevant to monthly contractSIM cards)If there have been no outgoing calls made from a phone for some months, It is nowcommon practise for the networks to reclaim the phone number allocated to a SIMcard, and any unused airtime value you have on a linked Top up Card. If you onlyintend using this phone in case of emergency we strongly advise that you make at

least one brief call consisting of a dial, ring, answer and end call, once a month. Thiswill also reassure you that the phone is working.

Orientation

Position the phone so that the flat display screen and the number keypad are facingupwards with the number keypad closest to you.

At the top left of the phone is a round button with a light bulb symbol. This is theLEDlight button, when pressed, it will switch on the LED light which is located on the topside of the phone in the middle. In the top right hand corner is another round buttonwith a radio symbol in which is the radio button. You can access the Radio menuwhen the phone is in use by pressing this button. NOTE: The earpiece must beconnected in order to access this menu. In between these two buttons is a thin holewhich is the speaker.

Below these two buttons is the screen. There may be a thin plastic film covering thescreen when you receive your phone. This is to protect the screen during manufactureand delivery. You can peel this off by pulling the small tab either on the right hand side

or top right hand corner of the screen. Below the screen is a green Doro logo.The display will show numbers and information in black text on a white backgroundwhen the phone is switched on.

The first row of buttons are slightly larger than the rest of the buttons and are the maincontrol buttons. This first row has three buttons, from left to right they are; thegreenaccept/call button, the menu button and the red cancel/reject call button.

The next four rows of buttons are the number keypad with the numbers arranged in thestandard four rows of three columns. The first row has 1, 2, 3, the second row 4, 5, 6

and the third row 7, 8, 9. The bottom row has the star, 0 and hash buttons.

Underside of the phone

The battery cover forms the bottom two third of the back of the phone and removingthis gives access to the rechargeable battery bay and the SIM card tray. The top thirdof the phone has two circles of small holes which are for the built-in loudspeakers.

Left side

With the phone facing upwards the left side edge is blank with no buttons.

Bottom edge

With the phone facing upwards and on the bottom edge of the phone there are twoholes in the middle. The rectangular hole on the left is the charging socket and thecircular hole on the right is for the hands free earpiece. On the right hand corner alongthis edge there is a hole for a neck loop (not supplied).

Right side

With the phone facing upwards, on the right hand edge of the phone there is a rockerswitch. It is located about a quarter of the way down from the top edge of the phone,to the right of the screen. The switch is used to scroll through the menu options. Thisswitch has a self-return mechanism so it will return to its original position after use.

Top edge of the phone

On the top edge of the phone there is a red emergency call button on the left handside. In the middle of the top edge is a white LED which is turned on using the LEDlight button on the front edge of the phone

Display

When switched on the display shows on the top row a series of small graphic symbols,from left to right they are:

Signal strength - increasing height bars vary in number with network coverage -more bars equal better coverage

New text message - a small yellow envelope symbol will appear to indicate you

have an unread text message Roam - a small symbol of a mobile phone with three wavy lines to the rightindicates you are connected to an overseas mobile phone network and will appear if

you travel abroad. Please telephone your network provider before you travel to ensureyour network operator has enabled this service for your account

Alarm - If you have set an alarm, a blue circular alarm clock symbol will show in themiddle of the display

Headset - If you plug the hands free earpiece/headset in a yellow headphonesymbol will appear

Keypad lock - When the keypad is locked a black padlock symbol will show

Ring / vibrate - depending on which option is selected one of two symbols will beshown. A red musical note symbol indicates a ring tone is selected and it will change toa mobile phone symbol with a wavy line on each side

Battery charge level - is in the top right hand corner of the screen and consists of asmall green battery shaped graphic. When the battery is full the symbol will appear asa solid green battery. As the battery is used the battery symbol will lose sections ofgreen until only a thin green outline remains. At this point a warning sound will play toremind you to charge the battery. When the phone is charging the battery shape willappear to be filling up.

Under the row of symbols, the name of your mobile phone network provider will beshown in black writing. E.g. If you use the SIM card supplied with this phone it will say"T-Mobile". If you are listening to the radio, the current frequency will be printed in redunderneath the network provider.

Under this on the left, the current time is written. The day is printed on the right, flushwith the right hand edge of the screen. Under this line, aligned to the centre of thescreen is the date. Lastly, at the bottom of the screen, centre aligned is the word

"menu".

Menu screen

Press the menu button to bring up the menu. The screen is then split into four rows.The top row states the current option, when you enter the menu you will start on thetext message option.

The second row has a row of nine small symbols. These symbols will appear in greyuntil you select the option that symbol refers to. E.g. when you enter the menu the third

symbol will appear in colour, as this is the text message option.

The third row has a larger symbol of the current option. E.g. as you enter the menu, alarge red envelope will be shown in the middle to indicate the text message options.

The fourth row is split into three. The left hand square shows a white tick in a greenbox which indicates accept/confirm. The middle square shows a white arrow turningback on itself in a grey box which indicates to go back a level. The right hand boxshows a white cross in a red box which indicates cancel/decline. These boxes refer to

the three buttons directly below the screen.

Navigating the menus

There are nine menu options. When you enter the menu you start at option three-textmessaging. To move to another menu option, use the rocker switch on the right handside of the phone. The switch can slide up or down to move through the options. Tochoose and option you can either press this button in or press the greenconfirm/accept button underneath the screen.

You can also navigate to the desired option by using the number keypad. Each optionhas a number assigned to it:

1 - Phonebook

2 - Calls

3 - Text message

4 - Alarm

5 - Conversion

6 - Profiles

7 - Calculator 8 - FM Radio

9 - SettingsOnce you have selected the option either press the rocker switch in or press the greenconfirm button. Each option in the menu is explained later in these instructions.

SIM card

Insert / Remove SIM card

First remove the battery cover. To remove the battery cover, first switch off the phoneand hold the phone face down in one hand with the screen furthest away. Using yourother hand, locate the two raised horizontal lines with a triangle underneath on theback of the phone. The battery cover is roughly two third of the back of the phone. Witha little pressure between your hands you will be able to slide the battery cover towardsyou.

The SIM card tray is located under the battery. To remove the battery, locate thephone with the display and keys facing down with the display furthest away from you.At the bottom edge of the battery bay, closest to you, there is a semi-circular space tomake battery removal easier. Use a fingernail to lift the battery up at this point. TheSIM-card tray is located in the bottom right hand corner of the battery bay and is arectangular shaped depression with a silver metal "bridge" across is.

With the brass coloured contacts of the SIM Card facing down and the cut off corner ofthe SIM-card towards the middle of the battery bay (left hand edge), slide the SIM-cardinto the SIM-card tray making sure it goes under the metal 'bridge' that keeps it inplace. Remove the SIM card by using a finger to keep pressure on the card and slide it

out of the shaped recess.

SIM - Enter PIN

This function has not been activated with the SIM card originally supplied with thephone.

If "Insert PIN1 (#)" is displayed on screen when you switch the phone on, enter the 4-digit number that will come with your SIM card paperwork. As you enter the numberthe display will show stars instead of numbers.

Warning - if you enter the PIN number wrong three times then the phone will lockcompletely and you will have to contact your Network operator for an unlock code.

If there is no SIM card in the phone the display will state "No SIM card" underneath thetop line of symbols.

Battery

Battery Removal

First remove the battery cover. To remove the battery cover, first switch off the phoneand hold the phone face down in one hand with the screen furthest away. Battery Insertion

Place the phone face down on a table, with the battery cover removed and the batterybay closest to you. The flat, rectangular battery has 3 recessed brass colouredcontacts which will need to be inserted into the top left hand corner of the battery bay.

Hold the battery so that you insert the battery into the bay, brass contacts first, andthen press the battery flat into the bay. (The battery has a blue side and a black side,the black side should face upwards).

Replacing the battery cover

Place the battery cover on the back of the phone and slide it into place. There arelocating lugs on the top and bottom edges of the cover that click into place in thephone body.

Charging the battery

When charging the battery for the first time, it is recommended that you charge it for atleast 12 hours. The mains charger has a three-pin mains plug on one end and arectangular holder with one edge cut out on the other. A 2-pin continental adaptor isalso supplied. To convert the charger from a 3-pin UK to continental, you will need todo the following: hold the charger in front of you with the 3 pins facing you, the singlepin at the top. On the underside is a rectangular button. Press this button in and pullthe 3-pin section towards you. Take the 2-pin section, and with the rectangular buttonpointing downwards, push the adaptor on. It will click when inserted correctly. To insertthe charger into the phone, with the phone screen facing towards you and the side withan edge cut out towards you, slide the bottom of the phone into the holder. It isdesigned to fit only one way round, do not force the phone into the holder, and makesure you have it positioned correctly. It will display "charging" on the display for a fewseconds and give an audible beep if the phone is set to ring rather than vibrate.

The battery can only be charged in the phone and if it is totally flat it will take a few

minutes of charge before it shows a square 'charging' symbol in the display. Thephone can be charged whether it is switched on or off, but note that if the phone is off itcannot be switched on during charging.

Please note: maximum battery capacity will not be reached until the battery has beencharged four or five times.

Getting Started

Turning the phone On and Off

Press and hold the red On/Off button until the display and the blue keyboard backlightcome on and you will hear a tune. Switch on is complete when the display graphicanimations stop and the display shows the time and date.

To turn the phone off, press and hold the red On/Off button until you hear a decreasingseries of tones and the screen shows an animated graphic display that then goesblank.

Making a call

Enter the phone number direct from the keyboard and briefly press the green OKconfirm/accept button. Remember to use the full STD code.

If you are dialling from outside the UK then add a plus + symbol for internationaldialling by pressing the star button on the number keypad twice quickly then add theinternational dialling code for the country you are dialling. E.g. +33 to call a number in

France or +44 to call the UK from abroad. (Remember to miss the leading zero fromthe telephone number)

Call lists

Press the green accept/confirm button to see a list of the last 10-missed/received/dialled numbers. Use the rocker switch on the side of the phone to navigateup and down through the list. Press the green accept/confirm button to call the numberof press the red cancel/reject button to leave the list.

Incoming callsWith the phone switched on - an incoming call is signalled by the phone vibrating oryou hear your selected ring tone. Accept the call by briefly pressing the greenaccept/confirm button.

Hands free

During a call you can select the hands free function, the audio is switched to theloudspeaker, by briefly pressing the green dial button. To stop the hands free function

and still remain in the call press the green dial button briefly again.

Using the earpiece

To use the earpiece, insert the round 2.5mm plug on the end of the earpiece cable intothe socket in the middle of the bottom edge of the phone.

The earpiece cable has a lapel clip and where the right ear cable meets the left earcable there is an oval shaped unit containing the microphone and a silver button. Thissilver button can be used to answer and end calls.

End a call or Reject an incoming call

If you wish to end a call, briefly press the red reject/cancel button. If the person youretalking to hangs up before you do, you do not need to do anything the call will becleared automatically.

When the phone rings and you do not wish to take the call simply press the redreject/cancel button.

Missed Calls

If you miss a phone call the display will show a message with the number of missedcalls. Press the green accept/confirm button to see details of the missed call -telephone number, name (if the number is stored in the phonebook), the date and timeof the call. To call the number press the green accept/confirm button. You can clearthis screen by pressing the red reject/cancel button.

Menu SettingsThere are nine menu options. When you enter the menu you start at option three-textmessaging. To move to another menu option, use the rocker switch on the right hand

side of the phone. The switch can slide up or down to move through the options. Tochoose and option you can either press this button in or press the greenconfirm/accept button underneath the screen. You can also navigate to the desiredoption by using the number keypad. Each option has a number assigned to it:

Once you have selected the option either press the rocker switch in or press the green

confirm button. Each menu item is explained in order as they appear in the menu.Within each sub-menu the options are numbered so you can navigate to option usingthe number keypad or the rocker switch on the side of the phone and pressing thegreen accept/confirm button.

1. Phonebook

Once you have entered this menu option "Phonebook" will appear at the top of thedisplay. In this menu there are seven numbered options:

1 - Browse

2 - Create 3 - Storage status

4 - Abbreviated dial

5 - Copy

6 - Delete all entries

7 - SDN Phonebook

1. Browse

The word "Browse" will appear at the top of the screen. Below will be an alphabeticallist of all your contacts. If you have not saved any numbers, "Phonebook empty" willshow.

2. Create

The word "Details/Edit" will appear at the top of the screen. Use the keypad to enter aname for the number. Press the green accept/confirm button to confirm. (Use numbers2-9 to enter letters by pressing the button multiple times to scroll through the availableletters for that number). The letters for each number are also printed on the keys.

Button two has A, B and C. Button three has D, E, and F. Button 4 has G, H and I.Button five has J, K and L. Button six has M, N and O. Button seven has P, Q, R andS. Button eight has T, U and V. Button nine has W, X, Y and Z. The zero button is

used to enter spaces. The star button is used to enter symbols. The hash button isused to toggle between from lower case letters to numbers to sentence case andcapitals.

Using the rocker switch, navigate down to "No?" Type in the telephone number andpress the green accept button. Before you save the entry, you can assign the numberto a "group". This feature can be used if you send text messages to a group of people

regularly or if you have a large number of contacts and can allow you to find theirnumber more quickly. Otherwise you can disregarded this feature and simply press thegreen accept/confirm button.

3. Storage status

This displays how many phonebook contacts you have saved on both your SIM cardand on the phone. It will state both the number you have and the total possible for boththe SIM card and phone. You can store up to 100 phonebook contacts on the phoneand up to 230 on the T-Mobile SIM card supplied with the phone.

4. Abbreviated dial (speed dial set-up)

Enter this option to set up your speed dials. You will need to save any numbers youwish to have as a speed dial in your phonebook first before entering this option."invalid record" will be shown against any speed dial numbers that have not beenassigned. Using either the number pad or the rocker switch navigate to the numberbutton you want to add a phone number to and press the green accept/confirm button.(Please note when navigating using the number pad, the number you press is one lessthan the button to be assigned as you can not use the number one button as a speeddial, e.g. if you press six you will add a speed dial contact to the number seven button).

Once you have chosen the button to assign, press the green accept/confirm button. Ifyou choose a button without a number assigned there will only be the first option(set/change), if there is already a number assigned then there are four options:1 Set/change

Enter this menu using the green accept/confirm button. Your phonebook will appear.Use the rocker switch to navigate to the contact name you want to assign to the buttonand press the green accept/confirm button.2 Details

Enter this option to find out the telephone number assigned to that number button.3 Delete

Navigate to this option and press the green accept/confirm button to delete thetelephone assigned to that number button.4 Call

Navigate to this option and press the green accept/confirm button to call the telephoneassigned to that number button.

5. Copy

You can copy your contacts from the SIM card to the phone memory or vice-verse inthis menu. This is useful when changing networks so you do not have to enter yourcontact names again. Option one copies from the SIM card to the phone memory.Option two copies from the phone memory to the SIM card. Press the greenaccept/confirm button to start the copy. A message stating the number of contactscopied will show on the screen for a few seconds.

6. Delete all entries

You can delete all your contacts from your phone here. The first option "Delete allentries" removes all contacts from the phone memory. The second option deletes allfrom the SIM card. Press the accept/confirm button to perform this operation. Thiscannot be undone, make sure you want to do this before continuing.

7. SDN Phonebook

This option is not used by all networks. It has a list of standard numbers for voicemail,customer services etc. When using the T-mobile SIM card provided this option is notapplicable. If you operator uses SDN then you can edit these numbers in the sameway as entering speed dials.

2. Calls

This option has a history of your incoming calls, outgoing, missed calls and totals fortheir durations. To find out the last 10 calls for each or for call duration then navigate tothe option using the rocker switch or option number and press the greenaccept/confirm button:

1 - Incoming calls2 - Outgoing calls3 - Missed calls4 - Call duration

You can call any number in the lists by pressing the green accept/confirm button.

3. Text MessagesPress the menu button and press the green accept/confirm button and you will enterthe text message submenu. Within this menu there are seven options. Navigate to thesub menu by using the keypad or using the rocker switch on the side of the phone andpress the green accept/confirm button:

1 Read message

Upon entering this option you will see a list of your text messages on the screen in

order of when they were received with the latest message at the top. Use the rockerswitch to navigate to the message you wish to read and press the rocker switch in orpress the green accept/confirm button. Once you have read the message you can exit

the message by pressing the menu button which will take you back to the list ofmessages. You can also reply, forward, call or delete the message by pressing thegreen accept/confirm button, there is another list of options which you can navigateusing the rocker switch or using the number buttons:

1 Text reply (Compose new message back to the sender)2 Forward (Send the message on to another contact from your phonebook)

3 Edit (edit the message)4 Dial back (call the sender of the message)5 Extract number (save the senders number to your phonebook)6 Delete (permanently delete the message)

2 Write message

Compose a new message using the number keypad. The numbers buttons 2-9 can beused to enter letters by pressing the button multiple times to scroll through theavailable letters for that number). The letters for each number are also printed on the

keys.

Button two has A, B and C. Button three has D, E, and F. Button 4 has G, H and I.Button five has J, K and L. Button six has M, N and O. Button seven has P, Q, R andS. Button eight has T, U and V. Button nine has W, X, Y and Z. The zero button isused to enter spaces. The star button is used to enter symbols. The hash button isused to toggle between from lower case letters to numbers to sentence case andcapitals. For example hello will be written as follows: H - press number 4 twice, e -press number 3 twice, l - press number 5 three times, l - press number 5 three times, o

- press number 6 three times.

When you have finished writing your text message press the green accept/confirmbutton and you will be given three options:

1 Only send (will send a message to a number of your choice)2 Only save (will save a copy in the draft box so you can send it later)3 Send and save (will send a message and save a copy in draft box)

Choosing either options 1 and 3 with the accept/confirm button will take you to anotherscreen where you can manually enter a number using the number keypad or bypressing accept/confirm button again you will see your phonebook. Using the rockerswitch you can navigate to the contact you want to send the message to and press thegreen accept/confirm button. Press the green confirm button again and you will havetwo further options:Send message (sends message to the contact you have chosen)Insert more DA (add another contact - so you can send the same message to anumber of different people and simply repeat the process to choose more contacts)

3 Outbox

This will give you a list of all the messages that are unsent. Messages will appear hereif you try to send messages when you are out of signal from your network. The phonewill automatically send these messages next time you are in range of your network

4 Draft box

In this option there is a list of messages that you have composed and not sent orchosen to save a copy of when sending a message. To continue writing in a draftmessage open it using the accept/confirm button and write and send as a standardmessage.

5 Voice mail

In this submenu you have two options1 - listen to your voicemail (Dials your voicemail). You can also access your voicemailby pressing and holding the number one button for three seconds.

2 - Voice mailbox (Your SIM car should automatically update this number, if it doesntyou can change it here)

6 Message set-up

Within this sub menu you can alter the advanced message settings. You are advisednot to change these items unless you need to.1 - Service Center (your SIM card will automatically enter this number - if you deletethis number you will not be able to send text messages and will have to contact yournetwork provider to obtain the number again)

2 - Storage media (you can change where messages are stored - SIM card or phone)3 - Storage status (how much of the phone or SIM card memory is used)

7 Delete all

You can delete all your messages in one go rather than one at a time. In this submenuyou have four choices:1 - Delete all messages2 - Delete inbox messages3 - Delete outbox messages4 - Delete draft box messages

4. Alarm

You can set up to three separate alarms. First choose either Alarm 1, Alarm 2 or Alarm3 using the rocker switch or the green accept/confirm button.The next screen asks you to turn the alarm on or the alarm off. Navigate to the correctoption and press the green accept/confirm button or press the rocker switch.You are then asked to enter the alarm time in Hour, Hour, Minute, Minute format (this

is a 24 hour clock.

Finally you have the option for a one off alarm or a weekly alarm. If you choose one offyou will return to the On/Off screen, press the red cancel button to return to mainscreen. The blue alarm symbol will show at the top in centre of the display.

If you choose weekly alarm you can set the alarm to sound on certain days of theweek. E.g. wake up call. The days of the week will be shown in a list and all arehighlighted so the alarm will sound everyday. Use the rocker switch to navigate to the

days you do not want the alarm to sound and press the rocker switch in to deselect it.There are small red dots to the left of the day if it is selected (Alarm days). When youhave the days you want selected press the green accept/confirm button to confirm.Press the red cancel button to return to main screen. The blue alarm symbol will showat the top in centre of the display.

5. Conversion

The phone has a conversion tool for which allows you to make conversion calculationsfor the following:

Energy

Length

Mass

Power

Pressure

Temperature

Time Velocity

Volume

Select type and press the green accept/confirm button, select convert type and againpress the green accept/confirm button. Then use the rocker switch to scroll to thedesired conversion type and press the green accept/confirm button. Then use therocker switch to scroll to the first unit option (convert from) and press the greenaccept/confirm button, press it again to bring up as list of the unit types, scroll to the

selected unit and press the green button. Then scroll down to the second unit option(convert to) and repeat the step above to select the desired convert to unit. Scroll toinput and enter the value you wish to convert. The result will be immediately displayedin the Res.: field.

6. Profiles

The phone contains 5 user profiles which can all be personalized with different call andalert signals.

These profiles are: Standard

The profiles are set in the factory but can be altered to suit individual preferences.Use the rocker switch to select the profile you wish to alter/view and press the greenaccept/confirm button, you will then be presented with a list of options:

1. Set as defaultSet this profile to be loaded as default when the phone is switched on.

2. PersonaliseHere you can change settings for the selected profile, select this option by pressing thegreen accept/confirm button. You will then have the following list options to change:

Call Alert- change the ring tone, ringing volume and call alert. Use the rocker switch

to select the desired option and then, again press the green accept/confirm, chooseyour preferred option and press select/confirm to save your selection.

SMS alert- as above

Key sound- choose the volume of keypad tones and also choose to turn the soundoff.

System alert- enable or disable the sound alerts for system messages.

Alert on/off- enable or disable the telephone on/off melody.

This will reset to original factory settings

4. TitleYou can change the name of the selcted profile. Delete the current name using theback/menu button, and then typing in your chosen name.

7. Calculator

The calculator allows you to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Enter the first number using the numeric keypad, using the hash key to enter decimalpoints if required. On the right hand side of the screen you will see a list of plus (+),minus (), multiply () and divide (). Use the rocker switch to select a calculation (theselected one will be highlighted in orange) and press the side key to accept. Enter thenext number and repeat the above steps as necessary or press the greenaccept/confirm key to see the result (=). Press the menu/back key at any time to clearthe screen.

8. FM RadioImportant note The FM radio and its settings will only be available when the earpieceis connected.

The radio menu can be reached by pressing the radio button located in the top rightcorner of the display screen.

Once in the radio menu you will be presented with the following list:

Off- this will turn the radio off.

Automatic search- Move the rocker switch up or down automatically searchthrough transmitting radio stations. The display will show a line of 3 arrows whileit is searching.

Manual search- Move the rocker switch up and down to change the frequency in0.1 MHz steps, or select 1 to 9 to choose from the previously saved channels.

Adjust volume- move the rocker switch up or down to adjust the sound volume

Save channel- Use the rocker switch to select one of the 9 available channelpresets. Press the green accept/confirm button to save the currently tuned radiostation to the selected channel.

Use the rocker switch to select one of the images andpress the green accept/confirm button to preview the image. Move the rocker switch upor down to scroll through the images. Press the green accept/confirm button to saveyour selection.

LCD Contrast- Move the rocker switch up or down to adjust the contrast on the display.Press the green accept/confirm button to save your selection

Greeting message- Enable/disable or edit the greeting message.

Language- Sets the menu language of the phone. By selecting automatic, thelanguage on the phone will change depending on the network operator's geographicallocation.Scroll through the list of languages and press the green confirm/accept button to

confirm your selection.

Date/time display- Enable/disable the time and date on the display

ClockDate and time settings- Enter the time and date using the number keys. Firstly enterthe time, press the green accept/confirm button, then enter the date in the format dd-mm-yyyy. Press the green accept/confirm button to set the time and date.Date display format- Select your desired format for displaying the date.

Date separator- Select a separator sign (dot, slash or none) for the date presentation.Time display format- Select either 12 hour or 24 hour time format.

Note: If the battery is removed the stored time and date will be displayed thenext time the phone is switched on.

Own NumberHere you can enter up to 3 of your own numbers.

Key lockThe automatic key lock function can be set to disabled, or activated after 30 secondsor 60 seconds of inactivity in standby mode.

Factory defaultResets the phone to the factor settings.

Note: The phone lock password is required to access the factory default setting.This password is 0000.

Note: The emergency number for the alarm call key has to be reprogrammedafter a factory default reset. Phone book entries and SMS messages will not beaffected.

When you enter the alarm call settings menu you will be presented with the followingsubmenu:

CLIRThis will prevent your phone number from being displayed on the recipients phone.You will need to contact your network operator for more information about this service.

Auto RedialWhen enabled, the phone will automatically redial the number 10 times after a busysignal or unanswered call.

When enabled any key except the red cancel/reject call and menu keys can bepressed to answer an incoming call.

Note: These functions have to be supported by the network provider andsubscribed to by the user. For more information contact your network provider.

Call waitingAn alert tone will be heard if there is an incoming call while talking. Press the greenaccept/confirm button to put the current call on hold and answer the incoming call.The following options can then be selected:Interrogate- Displays if the service is active or notActivate- Enables the functionDeactivate- Disables the function.

Call forwardingIncoming calls can be diverted to another phone number.Unconditional divert- Diverts all incoming calls to the other number.

Divert when busy- Diverts incoming calls if the line is busyNo answer divert- Diverts incoming calls if unansweredNo service divert- Diverts incoming calls if the phone is out of service.

Restrict callsTo increase security the phone can be restricted to disallow certain types of calls.Note: To activate these functions a restrict calls password is needed. You willneed to contact your network provider to get the restrict calls password.The emergency number 112 can be called regardless of these restrictions.

All Int'l callsThe user cannot call international or long distance phone numbers

The SIM card is protected with a PIN code. The phone can be set to ask for the PIN

Note: the default phone code is 0000.

Safety Advice

Mobile phones must normally be turned off in hospitals and in the proximity of medicaldevices. Please comply with any notices and requests from staff to switch off yourphone.

In addition, another usage could leadto dangers such as, for example, electrocution, fire, etc. It is illegal to change or rebuildany of the product parts and the case may not be opened.

Cleaning

Use a damp cloth to clean the device. Avoid the use of sprays and too many fluids

because these can enter the device through openings on the keypad and could causedamages. Do NOT use any cleaning materials or fluids that contain scouring agents,

Phoning outside of your own country:

If you are outside the home network of your network provider, your mobile phoneautomatically detects and goes through another GSM network. For information onadditional costs incurred when using the phone outside your own national borders,please contact your network provider.

How often should the rechargeable battery be recharged?Do not recharge the rechargeable battery after every phone conversation. Over thecourse of time, this leads to a reduced battery capacity. To keep the battery in the bestcondition it is recommended that you allow the battery to go flat and then fully rechargeit completely once a month. Do not compromise your safety or security to do this.

Can an emergency call, by pressing and holding the redemergency button, be made without network coverage or

airtime credit?If there is no reception or you have no airtime credit the international emergencynumber 112 can usually still be dialed. This facility is only to be used in a realemergency and where you need the direct response of the emergency services. Abuseof this facility may result in your phone being barred from making a call of any kind.

How can you improve the reception?

Try another location: when indoors, head towards a window or continue with the

conversation after you have exited an elevator, underground garage or a tunnel.
