“Im Going In This YEAR” MC SAILAH o winter is approaching and we had made it our permenant goal to get an exclusive inter- view with MC Sailah. so after many attempts we managed to finally get in contact with this legendary rapper! it wasnt easy to get in hold of this emcee as many developers and artists want to a grab a hold of him, he “has many packed days” is what he said to the public on live TV. We called him up by his house phone but there was no answer, after leaving a couple of urging messages he contacted us back. excited as we were, we told him to come back to our place and sit down for an inter- view. last thrusday we met him quarter past three and we must say he came dressed like a proper emcee! the picture on the right was taken half way through the intervier, he im- pressed us with his Toy watch and emcee style hat! his branded clothes impressed us too, his defiinetly on top of his game ladies! so once the interview started we managed to squeeze as much information out of as we knew we probably wouldnt see him again. we discussed four topics with him, his past life, his pres- ent life, future life and his personal opinions on the current MC’s and his position in the music! So lets get started on the interview, we firstly discussed his past life before he became so famous and covered with money, he told us his childhood was not the best, from a poor are in birmingham his dad passed away when ailah was just 10! he grew up taking care of his mother and younger sister, the neighbour- hood was very rough and he used to get bul- lied for a long time in his school, he described to us his sittuation being “disturbing” as he didnt have the best time in school and back in his home his poor mother did not emotionaly suport him. he had to find his own method of strenght to deal with the emotional break- down. he had his best friend who is now also a starter Emcee. they spent after school relaxing by the local shops and at the back corners of their area. S S There were a couple of ocassions when older people came and stole him and his friends phone off them one night after collage hours. Next we discussed his present life, he told us that he was coping well with all the fame and attention. “I have many busy weekends, recording new bars i have written and speaking to various people who are into the rapping business and can work by me”. In the future he hopes to work with more successful MC’s and extend his skill and mabey work with a team of rappers so he can increase his target audiance too. he also hopes to “sell more record online as well as in shops” This has been an interview with: Sailah
