LEARN SWEDISH FOR FREE

• Download SVT Språkplay application on your device and open it.

• Move the cursor slider to choose your current Swedish language level (Beginner A1, Elementary A2, Intermediate B1, Upper Intermediate B2, Advanced C1 or Proficiency C2).

• Select your language (Subtitles have integrated dictionaries to 18 languages) and then click (Next) to confirm and proceed.

• Download SVT Språkplay application on your device and open it.

• Navigate through the various SVT programs and shows, then click on the one you would like to watch.

• Click the Star button to add the program to your Favourites.

• Watch any episode by clicking on the image.

• Watch the program and control its speed through the setting button to the left on the video screen.

• The information button (i) can also take you on a short tutorial around the various app and buttons functions.

3Watch TV with interactive subtiles

• After watching the video, you can read the full subtitles and launch exercises by tapping the student hat icon.

• Drag the correct word into the blank to earn points.

• Confirm reading by tapping the circle button after each paragraph to earn reading points.

4Learn by exercises

• Tap the top left User icon on the home page to access your Personal Learning Profile.

• There you find that the Basic Swedish Vocabulary has been mapped to the six levels in the Common European Framework of Reference of Languages (CEFR).

• Completing the exercises will earn you points and update your Personal Learning Profile.

• Donʼt forget to register to save your Personal Learning Profile for back-up and to work on multiple devices and other Språkkraft apps.

• When reading subtitles you find that words are marked in the three colors:

GREEN - user should know them;YELLOW – user should learn them now, while;RED- user can learn them later.
