Patient will see a secure message from doctor with a link to join the video call If this is the first time the patient has joined a video call with their doctor using Doximity, they’ll need to accept permissions for microphone and camera. Patient will have to give consent to receiving messages The patient will tap the link in the text and be brought to a screen asking them to consent to receive text messages from their doctor. Each patient will only be asked for consent once. Patient will be brought into the video call room The patient will tap ‘Join Video Call’ button in the secure message and be a brought into the call room with their doctor. Doximity Dialer Video Calls: What Your Patient Sees

Patient will receive a text from an 882-86 short phone number inviting them to the video callIf your patient tries to call or text the 882-86 short phone number back, the patient will receive an error message indicating that it is not a reachable number and doesn’t accept incoming text messages.
