Admission Eligibility
• Haryana/NCR State Counseling Society conducts entrance test, if any, for making admission and conducts online counseling for various admissions. The society is the nodal agency for carrying out online paperless admissions to various AICTE approved technical courses in Haryana. (www.hstes.in/hscs.in) Admission to B.Tech programmes shall be made on the intense-merit and of AIEEE to be conducted by the CBSE.
Admission Procedure
• B. TECH.• 1st Year (JEE): Passed 10+2 Examination with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along
with one of the Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Technical Vocational Subject. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. Admission will be according to JEE ranking.
• 2nd Year (LEET): Passed Diploma examination from an AICTE approved institution with at least 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category candidate) in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology or passed B Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC with at least 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category candidate). Admission will be according to LEET ranking.
• M.E. / M. TECH.• Passed Bachelor degree (B.E/B.Tech) in relevant discipline or equivalent with minimum 50%
marks(45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category ) as a regular student. The admission shall be made on the basis of Merit Ranking in the HARYANA COMMON POSTGRADUATE ENTRANCE TEST -2013 to be conducted by Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak.

Effective Teaching Methodology
• Teaching is the profession where the success of the teachers depends on the ability of the students to gain knowledge but it has been seen teachers who have made even the worst of students the best of learners. So, it is evident the understanding of a subject taught by a teacher depends on the methods of teaching ADOPTED by the teacher. Methods make the material easier to comprehend and assimilate. A teacher would only pay attention towards his methods only when he is completely dedicated towards its profession and if his profession. There are some effective teaching methods that a teacher when follows would get better results from his students in terms of comprehension and reproduction of the topic on pen and paper which we will discuss in this article.

herself and also for his or her students so that they aim and work towards that goal ,if failing they can work upon it.

Electronics & Communication Engg

Electrical Engineering
• Electrical engineering is a field of engineering that generally deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics and electromagnetism. The field first became an identifiable occupation in the late nineteenth century after commercialization of the electric telegraph and electrical power supply. It now covers a range of subtopics including power, electronics, control systems, signal processing and telecommunications.
• Electrical engineering may include electronic engineering. Where a distinction is made, usually outside of the United States, electrical engineering is considered to deal with the problems associated with large-scale electrical systems such as power transmission and motor control, whereas electronic engineering deals with the study of small-scale electronic systems including computers and integrated circuits. Alternatively, electrical engineers are usually concerned with using electricity to transmit energy, while electronic engineers are concerned with using electricity to transmit information. More recently, the distinction has become blurred by the growth of power electronics.

Civil Engineering
• The Civil Engineering aims to improve the civil life of society by harmonizing the natural resources available on the earth. The major areas in the field of Civil Engineering are Construction Technology, Geotechnical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Municipal and Sanitary services, Surveying and mapping, Hydraulics and Water resources. A Construction Engineering deals with the design and supervision of construction of bridges, buildings, tunnels and dams. Role of specialized geotechnical engineers is vital and relevant for any structure to stand stable. Transportation Engineering deals with the planning, design and construction of roads, railways, airport, dock and harbours. Broadly, a Civil Engineer is expected to do planning, research, design and construction of buildings, roads, traffic and transportation, irrigation and power, water supply and sewage disposal, dam and reservoirs, ports and harbours, airways and navigation, treatment of industrial wastes and abatement of air pollution, noise pollution and disaster mitigation.
• Besides the basic and Engineering sciences, the curriculum in Civil Engineering covers various professional subjects e.g. structures, foundation, construction, works management and cost, transportation engineering, irrigation engineering, hydraulics, environmental engineering and earthquake technology etc.

• A well STOCKED library has been established in the heart of college campus having splendid collection of books (Above 19,000) to help the students & lecturers to gain easy access to the latest information in the field of technology. The concept of libraries has revolutionized human creative thinking and mankind has witnessed a sea change in the standard of living as books preserve archival materials and historical records for the coming generation. The primary aim is to provide material to carry out a balance between studies & technology best suited to present conditions and enable the students to compete in the international arena. The library, as the recourse gateway through which people disseminate and SHARE information, needs to redefine and reemphasize what is essential to its professional practice in the digital age.
Computer Laboratory
• The Institute has two fully air-conditioned Computer Labs for students. The lab has 60 Desk tops. Each desk top is served by an independent U.P.S. Students use the lab to do project work or research, generate print output, and to practice using software applications commonly used in this field. An Internet connection is also available in Computer Lab. A trained teacher is available to assist students with computer related issues. All machines are interconnected though local area net working for better accessibility.
Medical
• The college has appointed Specialists and Super specialists as visiting consultants.• RADIX Hospital is empanelled as Official Hospital at a distance of 4 km.• 24 hours indoor/outdoor medical facilities are available at RADIX hospital.• Common pathological tests like blood, urine, ECG etc are available.• Ambulance of the hospital and the college transport vehicles are available for

• Games are an integral part of learning. To infuse the students with a team spirit and channelize their energy into fruitful accomplishments, an Annual Sports Meet is held on the campus. The young sportspersons display a rare blend of strength and stamina. They wholeheartedly participate in the sports events and get an intensive Training in calisthenics.
