2. REINFORCED CONCRETE

2.1 CONCRETE MIX AND PLACING

2.1.1 DESIGN CONCRETE MIX SHALL MEET THE DESIGNCONCRETE STRENGTH GIVEN UNDER ITEM 1 OFMATERIALS

2.1.2 CONCRETE SHALL BE DEPOSITED, VIBRATED ANDCURED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SPECIFICATIONS.

2.1.3 FOR CONCRETE DEPOSITED AGAINST THE GROUND.LEAN CONCRETE WITH MINIMUM THICKNESS OF 100mm SHALL BE LAID FIRST BEFORE INSTALLING THEREINFORCEMENT. THIS LEAN CONCRETE SHALL NOTCONSIDERED IN MEASURING THE STRUCTURALDEPTH OF CONCRETE SECTION.

8.3 ALL TAPPED HOLES SHALL BE PROTECTED BY SUITABLEPLUGS UNTIL USED. THE ANCHORAGE DEVICES SHALL BEKEPT FREE FROM MORTAR, LOOSE RUST, GREASE, TAR,PAINT, OIL, MUD, OR ANY COATING.
