Dr. Ali Keyvanfar is an experienced lecturer, R&D project manager and research consultant in several
international public and private construction projects. He has more than 9 years of research experience
in sustainable resilience construction by user, material & methods. He has received world scientist award in
2016 as result of his scientific achievements. He has received honorary visiting professorship appointment
from Korea Invention Academy in 2016 as well. He obtained Bachelor (CE-2004). Masters (CM-2009) and
Ph.D (CE-2013) from Univesriti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), which is among the ASEAN top 3 universities
based on Times Higher Education University ranking -2016. He has more than 40 publications (while in 80
% of publications are in high-ranked journals, and in 50% of cases he is the 1st, 2
nd or corresponding
author). As a part of publication collaboration, he has been honored on co-authorship with “Prof. Dr.
Ronald McCaffer” in few cases. He is serving as reviewer jury in 10 high-ranked journals and
has experience to review more than 200 times. Dr. Ali’s honored editorialship contribution is as
“Managing Editor at MIT-UTM MALAYSIA SUSTAINABLE CITIES PROGRAM journal publication”
in 2015-2016. He has secured several multi-disciplinary international research funds (more than USD 1.5
million). He has developed number of award winning research products and services that have been
patented and trademarked in construction industry. He is a dedicated team member as well as a team leader
who is astute in undertaking project-goal.
