Dr. Angela Lebbon Dr. Lebbon’s area of specialization is in performance management techniques for individuals looking to improve employee motivation, productivity, and safety behavior. She additionally provides services for analyzing work processes in order to eliminate unnecessary work, resulting in greater efficiency and financial savings for organizations. Before joining Lehman, Dr. Lebbon worked with Kellogg’s Global Organization Effectiveness department. Additionally, she has consulting experience employing behavior change techniques in various industries including manufacturing, energy and utilities, food services, and government healthcare. Dr. Lebbon earned her Ph.D. in Behavior Analysis from Western Michigan University. Dr. Vassilios Gargalas Dr. Gargalas area of specialization includes corporate finance, investments, and financial institutions. Dr. Gargalas has previously consulted with a number of financial institutions including Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, Aetolian Capital, among others. Prior to joining Lehman, Dr. Gargalas served on the faculties of New York University, Fordham University, University of Bridgeport, Western Connecticut State University, Touro College, as well as other institutions in the United Stated and Europe. Dr. Gargalas received his B.Sc. from Athens University of Economics, his M.Phil. from New York University, and was awarded his Ph.D. in Finance from New York University. His research work covers both New York Area as well as international economies. He earned a PhD in Economics from the New School for Social Research in New York City and obtained a BA in International Relations from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Dr. Mario González-Corzo Dr. González–Corzo research interest and specialization covers various aspects of the Cuban economy, specifically on Cuba’s post-Soviet economic transformations, the role of remittances, Cuba’s banking and monetary reforms, and more recent economic development issues in Cuba. Prior to joining Lehman, Dr. Corzo provided consulting, strategic, and investment advice to global banks and financial institutions in the United States, Europe, and Latin America. His career in the financial services industry included senior positions at Price Waterhouse Coopers, L.L.P., JP Morgan Chase, and MetLife, In. Dr. González-Corzo earned a Ph.D. in Economics/Global Studies from Rutgers University. Dr. Dene Hurley Dr. Hurley’s expertise is primarily in applied statistical and econometric work and in international finance and trade. Prior to joining Lehman College, Dr. Hurley was the Director of Maritime Research at the New York- based Port Import/Export Reporting Service (PIERS), a division of the Journal of Commerce and a unit of The Economist Group of London. Dr. Hurley’s previous work experience includes roles as an economist with The Cadmus Group, Inc., a consulting firm in Waltham, Massachusetts, and for the Ministry of Finance in the Seychelles. Dr. Hurley received her PhD in Economics from Northeastern University.
