Danfoss Redan A/S offers a prefabricated solution for domestic hot water and heating systems.

ApplicationDanfoss Redan DR distribution system with manifolds for application on domestic hot water and heating systems with hidden pipe installations. The DR distribution system is prefabricated for implementation with the Danfoss Redan standard district heating substations for single-family houses.

ConstructionThe distribution system will be supplied indi-vidually adapted to the specific application. The distribution system consists of a back plate incl. of mounting brackets for mani-folds as well as connection pipes between district heating substation and manifolds.

AccessoriesThe distribution system can be supplied with Danfoss wireless floor heating control system CF-MC 24 V incl. of 230 V power sup-ply as well as accessories according to re-quirement. Floor heating control and acces-sories can be pre-wired electronically upon request at the factory.

Basic variants - ApplicationsThe DR distribution system is very flexible

and is available in five basic variants. The distribution system is for direct implemen-tation with the Danfoss Redan standard TD, S and VX substations. Please see specifica-tions on the back.

InstallationDue to the very compact design of the dis-tribution system it can be mounted in a 60 or 80 cm standard cupboard, dependent on choice of variant and number of mani-folds. The distributions system is based on a back plate, which, at the initial stage of the building process, is attached directly to the building base. Subsequently the pipes are connected to the manifolds and when the building is finished and protected against theft and right before the system is put into operation, the Danfoss Redan district heating substation can be installed and ad-justed.

Service friendlySuitable piping and placement of the mani-folds as well as consistent use of union nuts to connect pipes to manifolds facilitates the servicing of the distribution system.

ConnectionsThe manifolds are supplied with connection for PEX and/or AluPEX. Please see connection options on the back. AccessoriesThe DR distribution system can be supplied with following accessories: Thermal actua-tor with 10 m cable, pump relay and possi-ble wiring of this, piping for district heating connection.
