TEACHING EXPERIENCE:
I thoroughly enjoy teaching. Currently an Associate Professor, I am currently involved in
bedside and clinical teaching and tutorials to 5th- year medical students in King Saud
University. I am also an examiner at the Paediatric final exams for medical students. I was not only involved in the teaching of House Officer’s but also Pediatrics Residents at King
Khalid University Hospital( KKUH).I was also involved in teaching medical students and
Pediatric Neurology Residents at University of British Colombia & B.C. Children’s Hospital in Vancouver, Canada during my fellowship training . At King Faisal Specialist
Hospital , I was involved in giving bed- side Neurology teaching for Pediatrics Residents .I’m also examiner in annual Evaluation for Pediatrics Residents at KKUH .
ADMINISTRATIVE/ORGANISATIONAL EXPERIENCE:
I’m currently Head, Pediatric Neurology Section at King Khalid University Hospital. I
was Chief Fellow, during Pediatric Neurology Fellowship at KFSH& RC, Dec.2007-
May2009.I was organizing the on-call rotation as well as academic activities of the fellows
during that period.
I was Chief Resident, during pediatric residency Programme at KKUH, Oct.2003-Sep.2004.I
was organizing the on-call rotation and academic activities.
I’m currently involved as a member of Postgraduate Committee at Pediatrics Department,
KKUH
I’m also a member of Mortality and Morbidity Committee at Pediatrics Department ,KKUH.

My current research interests are in Pediatric Neurology especially Epilepsy in Children ,
