Dear Brothers in Christ,

I’m sending the report of the activities we’ve carried out in the congregation. We’ve been

working both preaching the góspel and strenghthning ourselves because the members of the

congregation no longer meet. We continued offering medical services week after week because

we know it’s a complicated community and one of our most important missions is to listen to the

góspel. Some older people preached the góspel in the living room. A niece and daughter of the

congregation have started it—actual count is 4 adults and one of them has visited us on Sunday.

We’ll continue reinforcing with the childrenbeing together and Sunday class. We have a large

group of children who Sunday to Sunday visit us to listen to God’s Word and they and the audlts

who attend the service are part of the church.

Once again I send you my thanks for having confidence in me to carry out the medical campaign

in Huasteca, state of San Luis Potosi, Mexi. Happily this campaign had great success and was a

great blessing. We had the opportunity to take care of more people with physical and spiritual

health needs.

SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICES

This year’s been hard. In Monte Kristal we’ve had to face many problems. Brothers that

assemble Sundays in the congregation find themselves with strontg problems like alcoholism,

Family violance, and insecurity—that affect everyone in the whole county- but we know that God

has sent us to this community for a purpose and a misión adn also He saw the need for them to

hear God’s Word. That’s why we don’t stop spreading the góspel and the love He has for

humanity. Thanks to Him we’ve had some visits with neightbors and friends of our brothers,

which makes us very happy. They are people who have the opportunity to listen to a Little of

God’s Word.

CHILDREN’S WORK

We know that a fundamental piece of the church is the children. A good foundation and good

teaching at an early age help us direct the youth on the right path.

We have sisters who support us in different activities and different ways of teaching these Little

ones, sucha s Christian movies we can show, Bible stories thru animated cartoons, This allows

the children, evena t a Young age, to learn and remember easily.

One of the satifactions we have is the faithful attendance of these children. Sunday after Sunday

they come; even if their parents don’t they do.

Other activities we use in children’s groups are dynamics, making learning fun through games.

I’m sending some pictures of the children’s activities. During December we’ll have some different

activities in special form. At the end of December I’ll send some pictures of these special events

we’ll have in the congregation.

MEDICAL CAMPAIGN

On November 27, 28, 29, the medical misión in Nuasteca was carried out with the support of the

Marble Falls Church of Christ in Marble Falls, TX.

I traveled in the morning by bus; owing to the vigilence on the roads, we had Mexican military

and pólice checks, and in spite of the danger and violence there is in our country, my experience

has been that many military and pólice respect the work we’re doing in places with scarce

resources and ask that we remember them in our prayers to God. By night I arrived with the

brothers of San Pedro, members of the Church of Christ there, who housed me and took care of

me during the days of this campaign.

The first day of the campaign 73 people were taken care of in the San Antonio communities of the

municipality of Tanlajas. That same day we visited San Pedro to continue the medical

consultation, seeing 45 more people. Because of the people’s great need, we worked until 12:30

in the morning.

The morning of the next day I traveled with some brothers to Xilitia, specifically to the

community of the horseshoe where we adapted the meeting building for consultations. In toatal

we took care of 72 people from 10am-9:30pm. It’s really satisfying to be able to support and help

these people who can’t afford to see a doctor and purchase medicine. That’s why seeing as many

people as posible was the goal objective of this campaign.

Different from other campaigns, on this occasion we gave medical attention to more people, and

for that we thatnk God for He answered us. The brothers that work for the Lord in these

communities have done great work, both in preaching God’s Word and in announcing (spreading

the Word about) this medical campaign.

As in each campaign, we’re concerned with the people’s health; nevertheless, their spiritual

health is what we want also to know more about. That’s why we take the patient’s waiting list

and the brothers from the Church of Christ in Xilitia preach and direct songs, waiting to get

answers for the people where bodies and souls are sick who ask for our help.

Even though we frequent those places only twice a year, I keep in contact witht he brothers

preaching God’s Word in those places, and it’s very pleasing to receive positive news resulting

from the mercifulness of God.

And for the brothers of this congregation and your servant, we give thanks for the support and

prayers offerd up on behalf of these ministries, preaching, and the medical ministry.

As on every occasion i in sending these reports, I also send my thanks for the support of this ministry, for the confidence shown in me, but also I ask for your prayers because we know that the life of a child ofgod isn’t easy. We have many fights against the enemy, but we know we have our Lord and thru prayers, he will give us strength and patience to continue.

Once again I ask for your prayers for the Church of Christ in Monte Kristal and for my Family who day by day have supported this work thru belief and love of God.

May God bless the plans for next year, bless your families and the work that is done in His name.
