TALENT

Dr. Luke appears three times in

the New Testament as a

• “dear friend Luke, the doctor,” (Col 4:14);

• “fellow-worker” (Phil 1:24);

• and a faithful friend of Paul in the dark hours of his approaching martyrdom (II Tim 4:11)

Put together, “Lover of God.”
