Why “web design” and “computer animation”?
www.create-validate.org
What is informal learning and why its recognition has become a priority?
www.create-validate.org
CREATE project aims at proposing innovative methods and tools for assessment and validation of the results of informal learning in two creative professions – web design and computer animation.
CREATE project: Aim
www.create-validate.org
CREATE project: Target group Organizations and institutions in VET (VET schools, VET centres), that offer
validation of informal learning in web design and computer animation. The organizations can issue their own certificate that can be presented to the accrediting body which then can decide whether to recognize the results from the tools or not.The project can also serve as a model for all organizations that would like to develop their own tools for assessment of informal learning in other professions.
All who would like to validate their informal learning in web design or computer animation.
The tools can also be used for self-assessment.

Stage 2: Methods for assessment of the results of informal learning
Stage 3: ECVET points
Stage 4: Online tools for assessment of the results of informal learning in web design and computer animation

Stage 1: Units of learning outcomesComputer animation:
More basic units:Unit 1: Principles of traditional animationUnit 2: Idea and scenarioUnit 3: Environment and object designUnit 4: Human character designUnit 5: RiggingUnit 6: AnimationUnit 7: Texturing and lightingUnit 8: Rendering
More advanced units:Unit 9: Advanced character designUnit 10: Advanced animation techniquesUnit 11: Advanced texturing and lighting techniquesUnit 12: Advanced rendering

Assigning methods for assessment to the units1. Exploring the required knowledge, skills and competences, estimating which dominates in each unit
more skills (more practical) game/ePortfolio
more knowledge (theory) test
2. Selecting a proper tool or a combination of tools which clearly relate(s) to the mentioned knowledge, skills and competences.
3. Testing and adjusting the selected tools.

Stage 3: ECVET точки1. What are the ECVET points?
2. How are ECVET points assigned to units of learning outcomes?
The numerical representation of the overall weight of learning outcomes in a qualification and of the relative weight of units in relation to the qualification.
60 points are allocated to the learning
outcomes expected to be achieved in 1 year of
formal full time VET.
The relative weight of a unit of learning
outcomes, with regard to the qualification.
Calculating the number of ECVET points for each
unit.
