Optimized project approach by combination with existing programsOptimized project approach by combination with existing programs
Systems approach:
• The integrated traffic management approach is built on existing base projects and the data interchange device of the Hamburg Verkehrsverbund
• It connects the base projects to a sound system with an integrated overall conception.
Widely on the basis of practically proven components!
Consequences and conclusions: • SUN will be established step by step.
• At first every base project shall be realized independently from one another.
• The functionality of every base project is independent with limited reciprocal interactions.
• The project partners are selected independently, too.

Pilot project in the Pinneberg county because …
• Starting point was an activity of Pinneberg county;
• Wide Political support on all levels of decision making;
• Exemplary but only partly critical in the Metropolitan area;
• Realization urgent with regard to the A 7 extension plan;
• First coordination withpublic transport authorities successfully finalized.
